Free Honda 40 Point Inspection at Honda Dealerships

I Should have posted this yesterday, but I forgot, and I searched and didnt find it posted.

http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/hccd.asp

Honda Car Care Days, April 1 - April 30, 2007.
Since April is National Car Care Month, you might check your tires,
oil and coolant level. But how do you examine tie rod ends or a
CV-joint boot? Haven't a clue? Don't worry. It's not a mystery for the
shrewd investigators at your Honda dealer when they give you a free,
40-point inspection. After a professional examination of your engine,
brakes, drivetrain, suspension and steering components, you'll get the
whole story with a detailed report of your Honda's condition.

Free Inspection any Honda Dealer, Make sure to call and get a appointment, I got one yesterday and they were already taking appointments

It depends, one time my friend took his TL to a Honda dealer for an oil change and they laughed at him saying take it to the luxury Honda dealer, ouch.

Surprised Acura doesn't have this too.

Honda dealers usually would be happy to change oil on Acuras - same line of cars and the same oil/oil filter etc. Same for Toyota and Nissan with respect to Lexus and Infiniti. It's always good to have more business.

I got an invite for one just the other day. Acura Appreciation Week, 45 pointcheck, and a free oil and filter gift certificate for the next visit.

+1

I got an email the other day for the 45 pointcheck from Acura, but no free stuff...

I deleted the email, but I wish I would have kept it now so I could post the details

The free oil change is dealership/zone options. All the dealers have to offer the appreciation week, not all have to give an incentive to come in. Also, Dealers/zones decide which year vehicles get the invite (i.e 1999-2004 would be a popular group)
