Nice car, but the dealers don't know anything of what's going on with in-coming cars. Ford themselves are messed up with transporting of these cars, dealers that think they are getting a car in a week won't see it for months, and some of the cars are "ghosts", where the dealer thinks they are getting it and they never see it at all!

I tried searching in Houston and the surrounding areas and could not find a cobra still new on a lot. I would not want a used Cobra though so it looks like I am still gonna wait it out and see what happens

the rear window vent shade is awesome. If they will not budge on the price, i'd get a 400hp LS2 GTO. The madability of that motor is ridiculous. Some vette owners are already making 500 plus horses with bolt ons.

Didn't they give the details for the new cobra in motor trend or something.
Its going to be called Ford Shelby Cobra, and it is supposed to have the same engine as the GT. The 5.4L Supercharged or whatever, they are aiming to beat the new ZO6.

Interesting in the article they do mention that their "performance target" is the new Z06 and Viper. The 550HP rating could be underrated just like the current Cobra's are and could be making closer to 600HP. Only time will tell to see if the Cobra's really has what is takes.
