I'm still shaken up, but I'm glad as hell I walked away.

Despite what knocks anyone still tries to say against Dodge, the car kept me safe. I just got home about an hour ago...basically sat around holding my kids being thankful.

Babies were fed, Wife was cool, and the morning weather was AMAZING. So, I decided to take the beast for a cruise. My usual route....10, PCH, canyon back to 405, home.

Well, I didn't much farther than the PCH. I know people generally consider parts of this road to be dangerous...fact is it was my own fault. I ran out of brains before talent. I was having a nice cruise and got a little impatient with traffic and when I had an opening I gunned it...

I guess I just wasn't used to having almost 400 lbs of torque at the wheels. I lost the car, got sideways, and when I stupidly hit the gas, the tires reconnected and I went head first into a fucking rock barrier on the side of the highway. Needless to say the car is toast. I walked away scared as piss. I'll be feeling that seatbelt and airbag tomorrow.

Its not fun standing on the side of a busy highway looking like a total jackass...especially having to explain everything to the cops. They felt I was embarrassed enough at they didnt give me a ticket.

Anyway...thankful to be alive...not sure what insurance will pay out...but its probably enough to get a used a truck and call it day

I'm gonna go hang with my kids...When I can get my head around what happened I'm sure I'll be crying my eyes out about losing my baby.
