^ yea im already a member there as well as 6 crew mocc and msf.org, as well with the part out I think i'm done to lazy to do anything else rather work on my 6

Filled up last Monday night and the gas light came on yesterday, I usually dont like my gas light coming on but I wanted to push it to see what I could get out of it since it was my 1st fill up.

So I drove about 40% highway 60% city and I got about 356 when the light came one which is pretty good IMO

I would drive the same in my TL actually maybe 60% highway 40% city and I was getting only 250.

The good test will be in about a month when I drive to San Jose which is i think like 100 some odd miles from me then we can see what it does on all highway

She spent $70 for 87 to fill her up and I spent $55 to fill mine up. And when I drive, I hit vtec all the time. Probably bad for the car, but she fills hers up 2.5 times in 2 weeks where i fill mine 1.5 times in 2 weeks. And she drives like a grandma. Anyway, good luck on the car. Go on to mazda6club.com they are really helpful there. If you are parting out your car still, let me know. Even if it's a swap for my old ones. Like, if you have lowering springs, i'll trade you my stock ones for them. Just PM what you have and maybe we can work something out.
It's nothing crazy. Your sister drives more miles than you do, yeah?

My brakes are squealing for some reason i'm like WTF so im going to look at them and if there bad i'm taking it back to where i bought it from and they are replacing them they already said, because when I test drove it they werent squeaking, now they are.. they said maybe because the car sat but I had it for almost 2 weeks so there excuse is invalid

plans for mods:

-Intake
-Drop
-LED interior
-Possibly a double din
-New system (sub,amps,speakers)
-remove those ugly door gurads
-plasti dip my front emblem possibly...

more will come to me while browsing the mazda forums i'm sure of it.

Very nice 6! I don't know how I've missed this thread.

Although I agree with you on the door guards being kind of ugly, dings and dents from careless drivers in parking lots are even uglier IMO, but I know you can't avoid them either way unfortunately.

Lovin' the 6! I purchased a '04 6-S new off the lot. Silver with black leather. 5-sp gearbox coupled with a V6. Loved the car. Ended up selling to pick up an '08 Mazda3 GT hatchback (also purchased new off the lot). I've been a Mazda fanboy for quite some time. I've owned a '91 Miata, '94 Miata, '97 Protege, '00 Miata, '03 Protege5, the 6 and the 3 mentioned already. Great cars!!

Wife has the 3 while all my attention now goes to the TL.

Enjoy your new car!

I really don't see what the big deal is with those guards. I personally like 'em, and my passenger door's guard had a giant scratch on it to prove it worked.
Well it worked-ish, the rest of the car still has plenty of dings.

Dude, that's so much cleaner looking!

I think if you drop your car just like 1 inch, your car will look so much nicer. Do not lower it too much because it'll look ghetto, I know it.

Sounds good.

This should be your next mod. I don't know which brand has the best springs for the regular 6, but yeah get something like Eibach or H&R. They should be pretty cheap. I think you just can a set from tirerack, since they do have some good pricing sometimes.

What's 2B06? Don't think it's the engine code, is it? Chassis code?

Love the contrast the tan interior provides.
