Ok I'll ask him...

I know a couple other places too, but I'm going to ask a friend who may do it for a decent price. I've thought about H&R springs too. I've been going back and forth because I wouldn't mind coils because adjustability.

Thanks! I really wanted coils, but I'm being cheap right now. I think you should just go for the coils.

Kevin...if you're not someone that'll be out adjusting them constantly, and don't want a SLAM...H&R will do just fine on stock shocks. Betty rocked them in her 8th Gen accord for quite some time and they rode fine.

That's the thing, I don't know if I would be adjusting them much. You know I like the height as is but I just want to give it a little bit more of a drop.

Accord Sport come dropped a tad compared to regular Accords. It's pretty sexy as is. Just spend the monies elsewhere IMO

H&R sport for Honda is very good. I had it on my CLS. (Although the H&R Sport ride sucks on 3 series)

Something that rides like stock but just with a lowered look unless you really need the adjustability

Tein S tech is not bad either. or H Tech, or H&R OE if you dont want it to be too low.

H&R Sport + Koni Yellows are more than enough for street uses.

I had S-techs on my Mazda 6... Had eibach on the TL then switch to neuspeed... Buddy had H techs on his CL..... I love them because the ride is like stock. I also had H&R sport springs on the TL.

55% of the Accords on drive accord are rice.... Although, the 3G TL has some it's not as bad as the accords.

I think a mild drop with some spacers will really change the look for the car. Of course unless you want new wheels =)

Some place in east sac. Their receptionist was confused throughout the call, so I'm not sure if that was an accurate quote. But I know that is expensive af for spring installation.

I'm in the wrong line of work...
spring change on a new car...where no bolts are rusty or seized...gimme a fkng break and they probably don't even have the retarded TL shiet where you have to remove the rear seat to get at the nuts.

Kevin, you're already happy with the stance, if you're inclined for more low, go h&r sport...it'll be noticeably lower without slamming.

It has been too many years, was CLS the same? I think it was because i remember i removed the rear seat very often.

No rear seat removal for the TLX. Just fold the seat down and remove the cover

The cheapest option to slightly lower you car? Just go to the home depot and buy some bags of cement..

I'm pretty sure this was suggested before... why do we bother giving you ideas if you never follow through or really consider them?!?!

$150-350 is the range you'd pay in South Florida. Shoot, I did my last set for a kid for $100. then Betty was like, are you stupid...do you think $100 is gonna fix your back when it gives out on you...

$100 and a 12 pack?

My buddies always installed my springs free of charge.... Too bad one moved to SoCal.

What kind of shop rates are these places charging? $150 total, and there's no way they get it done in less than 90 minutes. And if they do... man, i'd be checking everything over, just to make sure I won't die after leaving the parking lot

Well, that was my friend rate. Honestly, I refuse almost all the work people ask me for even if they're paying. I don't run a shop, I don't want the liability, I don't want you to think you can stop at my place very time a bulb goes out.

I'll only work on a select few of my close friend's cars and ONLY if they also are wrenching and doing a lot of the leg work. I don't mind helping with my experience/tools...but me just doing the whole install while they kick back on their phone when I was only supposed to be "helping"...that doesn't cut it anymore.

They are not shop rate. They are flat rate for a job.

Remember, So cal is the rice nation of Honda. Spring installations are easier than window tint.

to tell you the truth, i used to pay $100 flat back in the days when F&F was still cool. But they will charge you more if you drive anything other than Honda/Acura because they claim it is more "complicated"

I was just playing, Oonow. I googled "bullshit detector" and way too many good pictures came up

Shit, I can't believe how cheap you guys have everything. Spring install would be a hourly rate job here, anywhere you go.
