Though I like almost everything about the CC, I can't get over the rear....just like the beak on those new Acuras! My neighbor owns one with the sports package; looks nice but not very aggressive. I love the interior though. Congrats!

NOOOO!! It's still in break-in period, no? Cruise control is bad for the engine during break-in period.

Tell her to try varying her speed once in a while. Or if possible, use a more local route until after break-in.

Oh and the MFI displayed MPG is pretty accurate, check by calculator a few times. I'm at 32.6mpg for the last 3000 miles (GTI)

Oh I didn't know that. I thought it's just a speed and rev that need to be controlled. I will tell her not to use it.

Does it say in the manual?

Yes, it's in the manual. Wording to the effect of "avoid sustained speeds". And the VW forums preach this as well, more so than spirited driving during break-in. So no cruise control.

I gotta say mileage on the thing was incredible. 2.0t I have a foot that weighs about 100lbs and i rarely drive anywhere near the speed limit i pretty much average 80+ on the interstate. I got over 300 miles to the half a tank. Someone driving reasonable could easily get 700+ miles out of a tank with this thing.

i really like your choice of cars. Accord coupe, which in my opinion is probably the best honda has to offer except maybe the MDX and the VW CC, which is the best looking VW ever. Let me tell you man turbo makes cars so much fun to drive, yes it may not be as refined and powerful as V6, but you will feel every friggin horsepower. I am very impressed with 2.3t on my rdx and im sure vw 2.0t is just as good. now time to chip it and gain extra 15-20 horses. it will be worth it and you will notice the difference. i did with mine.
