Finally got the MDX!
Bought our Ebony on Nimbus Gray MDX Sport today from Acura of Boston. We will be picking it up Monday with pictures to come. Took about as long as the TL... Test drove in the winter purchased in July.

How is Acura of Boston in terms of the sales department? We just started using them for service instead of our regular deaership, Acura of Peabody and they have been very good, I'd highly recommend them.
Sales was fine. We bought our MDX from them, and the service there tends to be good. If the GM is still the same guy I had a conversation with him a while back and he is really passionate about the cars. Drilling me about all the stats, getting excited, etc.
We waited a while because my parents wanted to make sure all the finances were in order, etc, despite us financing the vehicle.
We ended up paying $42,000 for a Sport model, MSRP is about $45,500 (46ish with destination). However, we also got $2500 for our van trade in. The van was a piece of shit and my dad thinks he got about what it was worth. We also got the trunk liner and all season mats included. Financing is currently special offer at 4.9% for 60 months, 2.9% 36 months which is really what tempted us to get it at this point.

I was in there last Saturday having the rear brakes on my TSX replaced. I saw a sport model on the showroom floor with the trunk liner and all season mats. I think it had Navigation and was a darker, maybe grey color. That isn't the one, is it? That'd be ironic
Congrats!
Congrats!
Sport includes the Tech package. The one you saw has a taupe interior, however. It was in the back row, with a blue RDX to the right of it (if sitting in driver seat), right?
About a month ago they had an NSX in there.

Taupe is a gray, looked pretty dark in the showroom. Either way ours is still out in the lot with the plastics on it
We have to wait because my father wants to "make sure" the insurance company (closed on weekends) knows before even touching it. I heard from a few that the insurance should automatically cover a new car purchase for 30 days but he "needs to be sure." So Monday it is.

We got her
I will take some pictures tomorrow, I tried tonight but the flash didn't suffice in lighting up the car.
I took it out for a drive only hitting Vtec once, (It was hard not to, very tempting). I was doing all I can not to go hard on it as it's being broken in. I played with the handling much more than the engine, despite the temptation. It is crazy how well this thing handles. I tried doing some weaving on a long stretch of road and there is virtually no body roll.
As far as the sport suspension the difference is most noticeable on the highway. In comfort it feels like you're floating. The bumps are still there on the street, but not as harsh in terms of the impact you feel. Sport isn't what I would call too harsh, it handles incredibly well in both.
Loving the car. So now with a TL and MDX as the alternative to my truck it will be even worse going back to that. However, I feel my truck may pull better in the 0-40 range. The MDX really needs to get up into the 3s to move at a satisfying pace.
Oh, and I guess you did see ebony. The Ebony on the MDX is lighter than on the TL. I will take side by side pics of the seats and paint tomorrow.

Still in the break in period, was averaging 13MPG around the city the other day. Our TL did 16-17 MPG its first tank.
We got it with 9 miles.
So yes...
I hear most people are averaging about 19-20 after breaking it in.

Is the Ebony leather in the MDX really that much lighter than the TL? We were looking at the new MDX and would get the black interior but I never saw one at the dealership...

I bought my car there, but I have taken it to both Boston and Peabody for service...
No complaints with either... I take mine to Boston for the inspection sticker since they do it for free. I have recently taken my car to Peabody a lot since i work in Peabody. They hooked me up and replaced my front brakes, rotors and pads, full brake job for free during my 25k service. Usually that stuff is not covered on warranty but they said it was way too early for those to be in that shape so they hooked it up...
Also i think that Acura of Peabody has cuter receptionists...

congrats

You didn't get that one???
