A few snaps of the new ride...

Finally decided to get rid of my TL, and pick up something new..I got a smoking deal on this car and couldnt say no. Cant wait until spring time rolls around so I can polish/wax the crap outta the car...

Impressions on the car--the build quality is on a different level than almost any car Ive been in. I really like the interior color combo--looks pretty classy. Its a real solid ride, and the car feels like a tank. It moves if you push the pedal down hard enough..the pillarless windows are awesome.

Pillarless windows---this is awesome

Electronic trunk closer---this is cool too lol

PS--not really going to mod it-maybe some black or polished wheels, drop and an eisennman exhaust...

Nice! I thought only the CLs had pillarless windows, cool to see the CLKs do as well. Was this preowned? There are some smoking deals on these in the preowned world.

^^iTImmy, hell yeah it was preowned. you are def right, it is an 2006 with 33k miles. pretty much fully optioned except keyless go. I had to go to ohio to pick it up, but I got it for 34k OTD. Clean carfax, no paint work, all maintenence records...even had the orig window sticker (which was 63K) Someone put a door ding in it last night though--sucks..

Nice ride!

BUT! in my opinion, CLK550>CLK500 FTMFW! The 550 motor is an animal!

Do exactly what you said about the mods and nothing else. I'm pretty jealous over here...nice pick up!

Nice. My mom has the 02 CLK and the engine is like a locomotive. The transmission is also one of the nicest too. The only drawback is that she has gone through 4 sets of tires in 100k miles.

Nice!

I have the same car. Going on 1.5 years no major issues and it will look great once it is waxed up.

It's an underappreciated car (see resale), but a good choice

And if you are still on OEM tires, upgrade right away if you are going to do any spirited driving.

yup, the TL is being parted, and will be sold once most of the mods are removed---it was on ebay last week, but didnt get any bids. I always thought I would keep it forever, esp since I dumped so much money into it--but I just dont have the time for it anymore.

Ed--clk550>>>>>>>>>>>>clk500 for sure, but it was WAY out of my price range, by 15-20K more....thanks for the qoutes on the lease offers--maybe when I get another business Ill need a truck I can write the lease off against..

Loved your TL and I was antsy when you posted that you have a new ride on the way. Nice! By far my favorite generation of the CLK. Congrats man.

Congrats again, Chirag! It looks great. You are going to love that Eisenmann exhaust, they make some high quality parts. My friend has an Eisenmann catback on his 325xi, it sounds awesome.

Nice looking ride NJZ. Judging by the powerlines in the background, it looks like you live in Edison.

That was my second assumption. I live in Franklin Twp. Looks like I pass your house each time I head to WalMart.

Nice! I got absolutely smoked by one of those right after I bought my CL-S. They pull hard. Good choice.
