a few quesitons about petroleum
with all the craziness at the pump, I am beginning to pay much closer attention to where and what kind of gas I buy. Anyway, does anyone know if there is a big difference between using 91 and 93 octane for the car, or if it is bad to switch between the two on a regular basis? Is the 93 octane really worth it?
Secondly, are there "brands" of gas that are inherently better than others? I ususally try to stick to the major companies (i.e. stay away from sheetz gas) but is Sunoco, Exxon, BP, or Shell any better than the next?
Thanks, and you guys may want to check this out....it seems to work pretty well:

How much do you drive a month or year? If you are just doing about 12000 a year, then you're thinking about buying a cheaper grade gas, potentially messing with your car performance and reliability for about $100 a year. Is that really worth it?
I drive about 25000 a year and will stick with premium even though I would save over $200 a year. To me, it is definitely not worth it.
