About this product:

The Segway PT i2 offers you the best solution to move effortlessly indoor or out.

Completely versatile and consistently enjoyable, the i2 is ideal in more ways than one. Not only does it take you out of rush-hour traffic and away from congested parking lots, it's battery operated, totally wireless, and intuitively moves where your body tells it to.

The perfect synthesis of form, function and fun, the i2 lets you glide through your daily commute or zip from errand to errand without worrying about parking. The i2 can take you 24 miles/38 km or up to 480 city blocks on a single charge*, powering itself smoothly up and down stairs and curbs, and keeping you in control as it handles steep grades. Need to use more than one form of transportation? The versatile i2 can be easily stowed in the trunk of a car or carried onto many modes of public transit with permission. It's only fair to warn you, though: life on an i2 is highly addictive. Once you've experienced it, you'll find yourself constantly looking for opportunities to sail along the sidewalks.

The LeanSteerTM frame and handlebar tilt left and right in response to your body's natural inclination to lean into the direction you want to travel. With LeanSteer technology, the Segway PT seems to anticipate your every move, and adjusts to your slightest whim.

The Segway PT i2 Ferrari edition is characterized by the Scuderia Ferrari logo in metal coated in enamel and it features the unmistakeable red colour. Moreover this special Segway PT i2 edition is equipped with an handlebar bag made in Genuine Leather.

* 24 miles/38 km is the maximum range for the i2 with lithium-ion

batteries. Actual range depends on terrain, payload, and riding style.

Accessories:

  • InfoKey Controller
  • LeanSteer Frame height Adjust
  • Balance Indicator Light
  • Charge Indicator Light
  • Charge port
  • Non-marking Tires

I love segways they're so much fun! Though I don't know how practical they would be travelling "480" city blocks...probably get segway jacked

I'm more worried about the service costs on something with a Ferrari label on it!

indeed!

What's the price premium on this over a regular Segway, and is the waiting list less than 2 years?

Probably the most elite tree-hugger vehicle - endorsed by one of the least tree-hugging auto companies. Priceless.

The real genius behind Ferrari is not the cars, its the merchandising. Take an item, throw the Ferrari name on it and increase the price by 300%.
