Ferrari Appreciation Thread
On this particular shoot I took maybe 150 photos. Half of those will be bad or boring and half of the good ones I can't post...hence 2 boxes but only one car being shown. I try to make most of them count, but I did use a fully manual lens for some of these so my error rate was slightly higher than normal.
I will probably use/post maybe 30 photos by the time I'm done. Tomorrow I have a date with it for a few hours at night, after the dealer is closed, to properly shoot it.

Jordan, would you mind if I posted your photos on my blog?
The Daily Ferrari
I can make a click-through link on the pic and I always add the name of the photo and "by" followed by the photographer's name which is linked to the photo/your photostream.

I was there for the first start of both cars. Apparently there is a weird harmonic thing that the cars do upon their first start, which there was...and it sends chills down my spine. After that a bit of smoke out of the pipes and she shuts up. Very quiet and docile but still popping and rumbling even at idle.
I did not sit in it. It was nerveracking enough turning on and off the lights and opening doors, etc. Being one on one with it was more than enough treat for me.

I posted this in another thread, but considering these are mostly Ferrari's, I figured it can go here too...
I was in Florida last week for a few days, had a free day, took a ride up to Palm Beach International Raceway for the Cavallino Classic (Italian) Auto Festival...I have some video of the cars going around the track, it was quite eargasmic...can I post a video in this thread too?

Yep...two.

The owner didn't want a lot of hype, so I didn't post the photos I took of it...which is unfortunate because I took more of it. I had probably 2 hours to crawl all over it with no one around vs 30 mins with a crowd/owner for the yellow car.
ALSO, the signatures on the LaFerrari...didn't mention who those were.
Left - Piero Ferrari (Enzo's Son and Vice Chairman of Ferrari)
Middle - Flavio Manzoni (Ferrari's Senior VP of Design, oversaw the design of the LaFerrari)
Right - Luca di Montezemolo (Former Chairman of Ferrari)

I used a 70-200 for the shots when they were on the track.

I guess you're kinda good at what you do

What a magnificent car.
