I'm in the market for a car right now and there SO MANY scams out there right now it's unbelievable. I've reported at least 20 different scammers since I started looking in November...assholes...

This is soo true. In the market for a car as well, and the number of scams is mind-boggling. And the scammers could at least be creative! - instead of using the tired ole "my brother/sister/mother/father/cousin/wife/uncles granddaughters sisters boyfriends dad died in Timbucktoo which is where I'm now located and I need to sell the car for obvious reasons"

i agree, there are a ton of stupid scammers out there! it really sucks..

but don't get down.. i actually bought my car off of CList recently, and so far (crosses fingers) it's been great! so good cars for decent prices are out there.. you just have to put in the work and get a little lucky. GOOD LUCK!

I got my CL for a STEAL... I'm holding out for another can't-pass-up deal, but I'm growing impatient. Once I sell my car I will be forced to find something...
