Yeah, I took a yellow cab up to 100 mph and the sound of the rear-engine wailing was insane! But, I'm still not a fan of the E-tronic shifting Call me old-fashioned but a 6 speed manual shift is still the way to go IMO. Of course I've never driven an f-car so my experience is limited.
Anyhoo, thanks for the feedback. Azine>Rennlist LOL!

This may be just a pet peeve of mine, but I freaking hate interiors with square/rectangular shapes. Like gloveboxes with hard lines and a perfectly rectangular shape, and square radio/HVAC surrounds. It just seems like there wasn't much thought to the contours and the little details. See: newer Dodge interiors
Maybe that's why I don't think my car's interior looks that bad.

The curves are great. It adds a lot of personality I think.
I have always been a huge fan of jags.
I am thinking of getting an XK covertible for the "wife"

Honestly, I don't think u can judge what is a nice interior and what isn't nice, until u sit in the car. For example, while I do love the CTS-V's interior, I may sit in it and think this is way too busy or too much to look at. Therefore the Nissan GT-R would be a better solution. I've always been a huge fan of the all black and chrome accent look. Many fail in doing this because they use too much chrome or put it in unordinary places...The new Expedition is a good example of this. When I worked at the Dodge dealership, the owner (who also owns a ford dealership) had one as his demo and after sitting in it I was very pleased with the interior as far as support/feel and looks.

Here's some pics from the Bentley launch party last week. I dunno about the two-tone interior. It doesn't look as bad in the context of the white exterior but just alone looks pretty busy. IMO, the GTC exterior is classic and timeless though. Imagine pulling up to the w hotel rocking that ride, frak!

"Earth to XP. Earth to XP"

I just got my feet back on the real floor from dreamland.
In the real world, I still like this:
... although it's starting to look long in the tooth. It would also look better with Navi screen and the gauges lit up.
What do you think Acura has up its sleeve for 4th generation? (To be continued on the 4G TL new forum)

Also, every surface was of quality.. Lexus really paid attention to detail with this car.. IE the steering wheel is hand buffed for 6 hours and feels ridiculously soft

everything in my sister's ES350 feels buttery smooth and pillow soft. The steering wheel and shifter are really nice to use, the seats feel really comfortable but at the same time don't feel cheap, over-cushioned or thin... its a great place to be indeed.
My friend's CLK is really nice but the seats are hard as hell, it makes me think of alligator hide leather or something

My favorites are:
CTS-V
Civic Type R
Bentley Continental GT
By the way I like the Acura TL interior but I have a few gripes about calling it "THE BEST" ;
The bracket around the shifter is really cheap plastic and the side vents bulge out, which I don't like.
I wish I had a taupe interior with the wood trim, imo it looks better than any other TL interior color.

don't like the Aston interior there. First of all, the steering wheel makes it look like its a truck or van - because the spokes are so damn thick. Totally need a different wheel, ftw. 2nd of all, the angle looks odd, it makes it look weird. Overall layout and placement (not materials) reminds me of a Mustang or other domesticon. I guess that's partly understandable.
