The Favourite Production Interior Thread...
I agree about the radio, but for all those complaining about plastic interior, the BMW's aren't much better
Kinda OT, but I drove my friends dads RL the other day (2004, before the switch over) and wow...for some reason everything about that car seemed right. I can't explain it. The center stack was so clean...nicest radio i've seen. The freakin' volume knob was some kind of polished aluminum with a wood ring around it. Talk about detail! And it had the nicest seats i've ever sat in, by far.

and IMO. the c class lux version?
the day MB NEEDS to make a LUX version of a car thats a lux brand to put decent materials in? WTF imo
^ agreed - that looks out of place. And the steering wheel kinda makes me go
.
edit: for the steering wheel I think its just the color - it seems to look quite alright in the C63 interior
I think that interior color in general is quite bad.

I test drove this last weekend. A little busy but definitely lux. I loved the massaging lumbar support, breitling clock, and bentley cellphone. The GTC Speed was heavy as all hell though, definitely felt like a whale in stop-and-go driving.

Yummy, the local dealership for exotics recently started carrying the Bentley line. They are primarily Audi but also have F-cars, Lambos, Lotus, Maserati (no Astons). This past Sunday they had a Bentley launch party at this local country club 1 mile from my crib. I know a bunch of the guys at the dealership so my name is on the "VIP" list or whatever when they have functions. Plus, they keep trying to get me out of my c2s even though porsche>*
So far I went to the Audi R8/Maserati Granturismo launch party, a F-car party, and the Gallardo roadshow. I'll post up more pics of the Bentleys (I didn't drive the Flying Spur, only the GTC) but here's some pics from the Gallardo roadshow.
BTW, this guy I know Earl bought that flatblack superleggera. He already owns a 599 gtb fiorano LOL.

That thing looks like R2-D2's butthole.
