Favorite interior color combos?

For me... this shit right here is perfect. I have a weakness for brown interiors and that wood compliments the brown interior perfectly. The japanese need to offer more variety in their color combinations. Lexus, Infinit, and Acura need to start offering more color combos other than the plain Black, Gray, or Tan interiors. More Interior trims would be great too. Sorry about the rant, but I was browsing E90 post and came across this shit right here.

The Brown Burl wood definately would have made that interior so much nicer as opposed to the grey poplar wood...I also like the Tobacco interior on the X5, it's pretty sharp...

all red.... but I guess it depends on the car.

I always wanted a white on red s2k though, and I love the red seats in the e46 m3. I don't think it would work so much in a pure luxury car though.

I usually just like black interiors, maybe w/ some aluminum or cherry or burl wood trim. But all these new cars are having some interesting patterns, like grey seats with black dash and trim and metal accents, or black seats w/ plaid inserts

ehh... Gray doesn't really do anything for me. On black cars, I'd ultimately prefer a Brown leather interior.

Black sports car = Brown leather interior
Black Luxury car = Brown or tan is cool

I also think black leather goes great with everything. Aluminum trim on the sports cars (maybe wood since it looks really good on the BMW), and wood on the more luxurious cars.

Oh and Infinti needs to offer that brown interior with the quickness on the G37. It looks friggin SICK

Concerning white leather:

There are some cars that look really good with white leather, but its gotta be an absolute PITA to keep up.

Hell, even in that thread about the dude who did that extreme detail on the Gallardo (which had white seats), the seats after the short time the owner had the car were already stained from the dye in his jeans.

I guess if you don't mind keeping it up, go for it.

It would make me though

That's Saddle Brown leather with Dark Burl Walnut wood trim (my favorite combo). The picture doesn't do justice since it looks more brown/orange. The actual color is a lot darker.

Generally, car manufacturers limit the choice of colors to keep the cost down. BMW is one of the few companies that allows you to customize the car and of course, charges you more.

Think of it as custom fit clothes vs. department stores.

Oh and the 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD model is going to offer that sexy brown leather interior. I hope they offer wood trim as an option to replace the aluminum. Brown leather interior w/ wood would look SICK on the TL.

In most cases gray does nothing for me either because they typically use gray carpet with it. Which i dont like.

For example (ignore the ugly trim)

See the dash and carpet are black still yet the seats and doors are gray. Now that makes it hawt to me.

Ugh, there is nothing I hate more than wood trim. Aluminum/CF...anything is better than wood...

I love black interior with red accents and aluminum trim, probably my dream setup for the E46 M3

I delivered a white A8L W12 to a customer today. The seats were terracotta, the carpets were black as were the dash and door leather. The alacantara was terracotta colored which was a great contrast with the black leather door trim.

Gorgeous...

True story, I had a loaner 335i with the brown leather interior in post one and my gf said it looked like baby poop.

I disagreed, baby poop definitely has more green/yellow in it.

Agree with everything Secstac.... the GTI is especially good for the price. kinda off-topic but I like how the E9x has the cupholders above the glovebox. the 4G TL interior is great, and even moreso in that orange looking leather. I can't believe there are people that don't like the interior regardless of color. Looks like the seats already have wrinkles though

For me, I prefer black seats/leather with a different color stitching. I like blue/red interior lighting too, like the 3G TL gauges.

the classic Honda black/red

CTS-V interior is one of the hottest ever. The suede and piano black trim is unique as far as I know and it looks awesome.

I dig the Evo IX seats too, a great combo of suede, leather, and perforated fabric (?)

I think the S2k Red and black interior looks awesome, but I'm not sure I would want to live with an interior that loud.

I personally like black leather, with aluminum trim in most cars, however, some cars look better with wood trim. The various brown leathers interest me more then tan or grey ever have but I still don't think I would sway from black.
