I know I had my TSX up to 110 on the NE extension of the PA Turnpike. Daytime and no one in sight, for about 30 seconds But the fastest I ever went was 130 mph, in a '72 Cutlass on a 2 lane blacktop, straight asan arrow, @ 6AM, in southern Wisconsin. Nothing but cornfields for miles and miles.

160+mph in my Stealth back in about 1997. On the highway, late at night, it was really not a good idea, we have too many potholes around here, but I was being a douche trying to impress a girl.

4 wheels ~220KPH (137MPH) on the A8 near Nice, France in a Renault Safere. Deserted road early in the morning

2 wheels ~135MPH at the end of I70 on a Honda Sabre V65, also deserted road

Both done a long time ago when I was more dumb and foolish

haha. Yeah the guy who owned the cutlass was asleep in the passenger's seat.
We were headed from LA, up to Hazelhurst and Lake Katherine where my fiancee was awaiting.

Yikes. The only way I'd ever go that fast is if I was driving.

130 in my Ford Probe on I-85 heading to my girlfriend's house on Christmas day when I was an invincible 18. The interstate was deserted, save the small town cop who eventually caught up to me .

130 in my friend's parents Ford Taurus on I-95 three years later. We used their car to drive to and from Ft. Lauderdale to catch a cruise ship to the Bahamas for spring break. I drove the 3:00am-7:00am leg back. Missed getting tagged by a SC State Trooper by mere seconds.

I don't mean to sound like I'm throwing up the BS flag on this one, but I would think an S4 would succumb to drag before 185 mph. That's damn fast!

Yes I do. Now I drive much faster car than that civic, I have never tried that again and I am sure I never will. Insurance already sucks.

A hair over 270 km/hr, or about 170 mph, in my 1992 Corvette ZR-1. It was still remarkably stable, and eerily quiet (except for the side windows trying to pull out of their frames. It may have had a little left, but not much. The car was basically stock expect for a couple bolt-ons.

Have it on DVD, classic John Frankenheimer, De Niro, and Reno. S8 driving fast in and around Nice, amazing driving and stunts. Too bad Katarina Witt had to get shot.

Been to Nice twice on business (designed some chips in Sophia Antipolis), amazing place and beautiful people. Brings back alot of good memories.

And the 'how they filmed the chases' extra takes nothing away from the scenes. I couldn't wait for the blu-ray to come out in the US... I ended up buying it on Amazon.ca. De Niro and Reno=

Also love Reno in "The Professional", thought it was Natale Portman's first movie. Lotta weapons but no cool cars and driving.

140mph indicated in a 94 Prelude VTEC (speedo pinned), 04 Accord V6 and an 08 Accord V6. All of those at night, and both Accords while going over a bridge. Yes, I was very, very stupid.

Had an 08 Accord V6 6MT up to an indicated 130mph, but that was by accident

Ive never taken my CL past 110, and I dont have the desire to either.

An hour and a half of bliss.
