If the 2015 STi had the new motor and not the old EJ, that is what I would be shuttling my 2 kids in right now.

My vote is the Charger SRT...but admittedly Im one of the Dodge fanboys here...There are at least 3 members with Chargers...1 SRT and 2 RTs...and RTs are plenty fast to get you into trouble. Either model is very engaging to drive with ample rear seat space.

Not sure if I saw the same car as 2012 Wagon...I do not think the interior is low rent. Its full of soft touch materials and a very nice design. Yes, there is some plastic, much like there is in most cars.

I like the ISF, M3, S4, CTS-V, etc etc etc etc etc....but go take an infant carrier and a base and go try and fit them in the rear of those cars. Its gonna suck.
I am a HellCat fanboi. I love the Chargers. To me they are the antithesis of the subtle S6 and M5... I love the in your face-ness of them, I love the brash colors, the greens the purples.

For me, for MY money, the interior seemed cheap. Yes it is MUCH better than the previous, and the seat was nice, but the dash, door trim, outside panel gaps wasn't up to snuff.

Then again when I am spending SOMEONE ELSE's money, the answer to every question is HELLCAT

As someone who has TWO large car seats AND a DUAL stroller (side by side). I made do with a CT200h (smaller than all cars mentioned). I made do in a Mazdaspeed3 and now in a TSX wagon.

I took my car seats with me, my double stroller, made sure everything fits, before I bought a car.

Good luck OP

wow, that's really impressive for a CT200h, but must of been hell. OP has the option of getting more space though, so why recommend such a tight fit?

in the words of chris rock..."you could drive a car with your feet if ya want to, but that dont make it a good f* idea"

I'd vote new charger, but the SHO isn't a bad choice.

I agree with everyone saying that midsize might be a better option. What about a used A6 3.0? Fantastic tech and it just takes a tune to get it to 350 to the wheels. It's the same motor that's in the S4, just "detuned" a bit.

I dealt with 2 large car seats and dual stroller as well...first tandem, then dumped it for a side by side. Twins sure are fun...Did it with a Prius at first...but they are super roomy, and the CT200 is based off it. Though I think the hatch space in the CT is way smaller...so kudos on making that work.

WRX.

If you are not going to track your car, STi isn't really worth it imo.

Yup in the same boat as you. I see a lowered Jeep Cherokee SRT (the one wiht the dual center exhaust) on my commute, and man that thing is a beast. Locally there is also a Black new 300C. SLAMMED (wheels tucking in fender), may 22 or bigger. Black car, full red wheels. Actually looks good. So I am a big fan.

This is the dual stroller I use
Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double Stroller 2012 in Orange / Shadow - Model BJ16239

It works in the CT200h (creatively)... but then when I go to Cotsco, have to carry stuff in my lap. So sold the car.

I didn't realize how big my mazdaspeed 3 hatch was, till I bought the CT! CTs problem is the high load floor, due to the battery.

So you went from Prius to the HEMI? I LIKE it.... sounds like me..goes to show many of us Hybrid drivers or ex hybrid drivers are car people

I owned an Outback, Subaru Justy, and a Subaru DL Station wagon. I really want a Baja turbo.

Aside form that, I don't know much about the WRX/STi as the kids these days.

When I was shopping last fall, the interior of the STi was HEAD/SHOULDERS above the WRX (to me).

I would pay the extra money for the Sti, due to the interior and the wing along. I used to hate the wing, but older I get the more I like it. Maybe wing helps me with my other shortcomings that come with age

That said, I am not buying a 40K Sti with a old ass motor.

I actually searched a lot for a WRX hatch..but they are all asking 28-29K$ when a new WRX was 26K. Didn't make sense to me.

I am not one to tune a car. Bolt on's are a possibility, but I try to keep the powertrain warranty intact.

I received some pretty good invoice pricing on a Charger 392, but I wish there was one in the are for me to look at before ordering it.

I really wish the S6 was in my price range. That would be perfect.

We used the Citi Mini Double (non GT)...my boys are almost 4 so we haven't used the stroller in over a year...I need to sell it actually.

Its a long story...I had the Challenger., custom ordered it from the factory in 2009. DD was an old Pathfinder was my DD. 00 Civic Coupe was my wife's. The Pathfinder was needing some work that I didn't feel was worth the money, and in my search I ended up with an amazing lease on a Prius for my new DD. Wife got preggers and I ended up in Detroit for work for 6 months, so I gave her the Prius. Came home and ended up with an older JGC DD. After two years I was sick of the Prius and the way people on the roads treated you in it. Ended up with a Highlander...lease over...Now wife has a Jeep Cherokee (the new little one) and sadly after a someone made an illegal left in front me in the Challenger right after Thanksgiving (with the kids in the car) I now have a Durango RT.

And same as you...in the Prius with the stroller...any heavy shopping and space quickly went away.

Chryco/FCA whatever people want to call it now greatly impressed me with my Challenger...and I have been overly happy with their products since then. I most likely would have gotten another Challenger with that sexy new interior had it just not made sense to get rid of my beater and focus on the kids right now. Another time though.

Also...Hellcat for Hellcat...I have to admit I would get the Charger. Its mean, aggressive, sexy, and in white its just sick. Interior design wise...the 2015 Challenger > *

I can promise the first (and every) time you push the start button you have a smile on your face and a boner in your pants.

Get on the freeway and want to pass someone...you just might jizz yourself.

I'm surprised no one else mentioned this (well I'm assuming it is the G, I have no clue on the new names and I own an infiniti). Yes, they are common but for the money, they are pretty quick, good interior, and look decent.

I did love the look of David's Challenger and after hearing it, I really wanted one but then I had a Charger for a month long rental and it all changed. Yes, it was a rental and nothing special while my fleet vehicle came in but I hated the interior. I really thought the outside looked great, roomy, good power especially for the smaller engine but plastic all over. I will say the interior of the top end models looks gorgeous but still, the dash and such ruin it for me. Not to mention, I see so many hideously modded in the hood (was living downtown Richmond, VA at the time) so that was a turn off.

All that being said, it was me, my then gf, and of bunch of drug samples, no kids. You are looking at gorgeous, fast, amazing cars but they are not family cars. The backseat in the IS IS great for drunk friends or midgets but not car seats. I would say the SHO but now I have to blacklist it due to Cock,,,err Brock having it. I think you need something more GS or A6/S6 sized but the wallet is going to hurt which brings me back to American. Large, quick, and you will have to deal with the interior CTS-V is a great answer...

Don't know if you're looking to lease or buy but there are some insane deals right now on both the Q50 and GS350 F-Sport. I went with the F-Sport only because my girlfriend has the Q50 lol.

We have a lot of similarities..hehe.

I too had a 01 Pathfinder. Great truck. Bought it for 500$. Put 2K into it. Drove it 30K miles, sold it for 4500$.

Kudos for putting up with the Prius for 2 years. I did CT for 13 months. Felt like someone chopped off my penis.

I need a real car next (for the kids). Waiting for work..to let me know if I make partner (then fast car), if not (tsx wagon stuck for another year) LOL

Not quick, but if it doesn't fit in that you shouldn't be hauling it without a CDL.

Anyway, I saw it mentioned a while back but what about a new Genesis? Interior is nice, back seat is roomy and they are very well reviewed cars.

Don't you have to be a 75+ year old white guy with grandkids or a 18-30 year old black guy with 3 diff babys mamas to drive that?

Actually I normally see older African-Americans driving them unless it's Florida. Then it's old white people who can't see over the dashboard.

I live in Florida, see a lot of them driven by all the stereotypes listed above.

My father-in-law has a white 95 Fleetwood with the LT1, not hyperquick but pretty fast. Problem is the poor steering and handling
