Obviously everyone is wondering why the hell Subaru thinks they have a premium on the entry level segment ala vw when they have no real premium aspects in their cars. The Impreza is no more a step above the civic than a damn corolla is. People better check the market considering AWD does not make a damn 19k out of an entry level car in every other way. YES look at an Impreza. What is it? It has nothing as far as new tech. No wonder the car sells 1/10 .

I think Subie is fine with their Foresters, Outbacks and WRX's

As for the AWD statement the thing is 50% of the Civic and Corolla buyers dont even know how an AWD can be advantageous.

Well I guess thats because 97% of the time awd doesn't offer a damn thing over fwd.
