It's gotten rave reviews, but some have said the ride is a bit too "civilized"... Hopefully that will be remedied with a sportier coupe version

I agree 100%. I will always consider the IS a glorified Corolla, no matter how much better the car looks over the previous generation.

the rims have got to go. that exhaust is absolutely incredible.

but the 3 > IS, always and forever. BMW did it first, and Lexus has been trying hard to mimic it.

I got to check out an IS350 at the autoshow this past monday. The lady was showing someone the car, and I got in before she locked it (I didnt realize they were showing it to someone,.......Lexus locks most of their cars, even though companies like Mercedes etc had literally ALL their cars open). THE CAR IS SICK. The interior is so nice to look at and feel. The lady let me turn on everything in the car and play with the navi and stereo etc. I think I actually like the instrument cluster more than my TSX,...........gasp,.....and the start up sequence when the gauges move all the way up and back down is kinda cool. I couldnt believe how impressed I was with the car (having not driven it). It had great seats and a nice wheel, stereo sounded great, and the fit and finish was very nice.

Anyway,........I am way off topic. Car ^^ looks good,...............minus those wheels.

If you said the ES300 was a glorified Camry, I'd let it slide, but comparing the IS to a Corolla is like saying a 550i is a glorfied Jetta

Since when does the corolla have 306hp (and a list of other features that I'm too lazy to list) ??

Don't act like such a mindless prick until you ACTUALLY OWN a bmw 550... Kthxbye.

Even Jesal our resident eurosnob know better then to make statements like that...

I will always consider the 550 to be just a glorified 1 series....
