One of the Red Bull F1 cars was filmed driving the rainy streets of Sao Paulo

From Digg.com:
Red Bull Racing performs first-ever F1 demo run on public roads in Brazil. The car reached 140 mph (230 km/h) in one of the busiest streets of the city, which was closed for the event.

Halfway through the video. Thoughts:
1) Don't the streets have to be pretty smooth for that car? That thing would get destroyed where I live ...
2) Anyone see the guy crossing the road at 2:47? I can't believe they didn't completely close down the road to both cars and pedestrians.
3) I'd love to have a bunch of roads closed off to make a personal race track. Don't need the F1 car, I'd probably find some way to kill myself without it.

awesome vid... reminds me of that cheesy ass "driven" movie that came out a few years ago. Is it true that the f1 cars have enough downforce to suck the covers off of the manholes on the streets?

Sidenote: I would love to see how fast an F1 racer can run from interchange 18W/16W through 1 on an empty NJ Turnpike.
