I owned an e28, my father had the next style, and my friend has the last gen.

New gen is poop from an aesthtic pov

I think some of you guys are crazy! I think the evolution is great and I think the E39 (the previous gen) is definitely the hotest but the new one is bad at all. Y'all can keep the old models and I'll take the new!

 

Wonder how long before someone sues BMW claiming that the I-Drive kept their attention OFF the road too much and caused the accident!!??

 

I wasn't a fan of the new one from pics, but it does look better in person. I think it might have the same effect the 7 and Z4 had one me...hated it at first then it grew one me.

 

New one looks good from the front but horrible from the back.

 

All you have to do is clear out those ugly red lines towards the center (like the accords). Then it'll look nice. I agree and think the last model before the new ones look the best. But the new ones are incredible!!! Have you ever seen the interior? It's like a space ship

BTW, the 3 series is the BMW of BMWs.
Especially the M3 Coupe.
It might be the entry, but they get better looking year after year (unlike the 5 and 7).

I think the 6 Coupe is gonna give it a good run though.

The new 6 doesnt hold a candle to the old 8 or old 6, but its probably the best of the bungle interiors.

The 3 series is not the bmw of bmws. the 5 series is, the 3 series wasnt even well excepted by bimmer purists till this current incarnation of 3, and this all with the exception of the m3.
