I'm happy to hear you can get the base 5MT without the ridiculous rear wing. I know it's semi-functional, but not on public roads.
Dual clutch is overrated imo, still prefer to row manually.

Not a fan at all of the exterior styling. Too "grocery getter" in drag for me
At least the wing is a little more modest compared to the previous generation. This is, in my mind, the only improvement in appearance.

Also, they haven't been around in enough mass quantities to know the long term reliability (or so an engineering buddy of mine told me).

I was praying for something like 12.5 quarter time.

that's being aweful positive with just an intake, and cat back or even turbo back.
cut a full second of your 1/4 mile with just an intake and exhaust(which only MAYBE makes 20-25 crank hp)

oo red outs on the IS, just like mine. rev, our cars are sexier haah. i think the evo X is a great car, it looks aggressive in the front. i bet there will be host of mods that will come out for it to be power house just like the Evo 9.

yeah...it's a sexy car alright. I'm going to go with blackouts, I think - I'm working on blacking my emblems right now, though.
I have yet to see one Evo, though.

Link must be fubar. I kind of wanted to read it to...Evo X is not on my short list as a future car, but I'm curious to see if this one will at all live up to expectations. It seems like Mitsubishi has kind of cheapened the Evolution image.

Aluminum block 4B11 engine
S-AYC sounds cool as we never got that in the states on previous models.
My stock evo 9 put 245whp on the dynojet.
With simple bolt ons - 02 housing, 2.75 inch downpipe, 3'' test pipe (catless), 3''catback exhaust, boost controller and and an ECU tune I dynoed 325whp, 315tq.

where is....
new one=poop. slower on straight and handles worse.
X pulled 0.97g on skid pad..............but the ix pulled a 0.98g.
and first evo to get rid of 4g63 ftl. but dont worry the new evo engine will also be featured in the new srt-4 replacement.

I like the front fascia a lot, both new and old gen. I think the only problem is that the car is slower, I thought their intentions were to make it faster, not slower. 13.8 on a AWD Turbo isn't very impressive, but then again they don't get the high rpm launch, so.

*edit* stupid me they were base testing the 5spd, just read the whole C&D article.

I don't get it, why use an aluminum motor? And how is this car so heavy? Lightweight wheels, seats, an all aluminum body, lighterweight motor, and this car still is heavier.
