Got this from smolvar @ automotiveforums.com. He took this picture in West LA. He said that it has California "Dist" license plate. He also stated that it is probably as US Spec Evo VII because it has a smaller intercooler that has been moved back towards the engine about 5 inches (most likely to make it comply with the US 5mph Bumper Requirement). i know a guy in seattle area owns a real cool genium evo 5.he imported from hong kong.and it is left side driver seats.cool..a white one..really cool

 

If it really comes to the States, it will be one of the cars that I might consider change my Accord to in a year. It looks very aggressive and sporty.

 

the car has 5 lugs... the american lancer has 4... this could be a genuine lancer evo VII.
