What a fucking douche bag.

He ran because he would have been kicked out anyway. Driving like a total idiot. Good thing it didnt seem like there were any real course workers around.

That is also a lesson in how not to score a fast time.

People like that show up autoX events everyonce in a blue moon.

Biggest problem aside from endangering other people, and being stupid fucks...is that kind of shit runs you the chance of losing your venue...and they arent easy to secure to begin with.

I hope that dude dies in a wreck...and I am serious when I say that.

I was hoping that he was going to crash, dang. The guy can't drive an auto-x course if it killed him.

He left.

He would have been kicked out the event anyway, and he knew that.

His soul purpose in going was to pull that retard act and bolt.

I dont why but people seem to think its cool.

If it was a sanctioned event they have his plates and he is most likely banned.

But most of them arent stupid enough to try and show up again.

I laughed out loud when he "hopped" outta there. That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. I wonder if he had any rubber left after that "run."

Saw this over at EvoM.net
Funny how all the people over there were agreeing that driver was a douche for what he did to that poor evo. But they also seem to believe that driver was somewhat skilled... unexpected how he jumped in the end nonetheless.

You know, as I was watching the video, I thought he was skilled too. It was only when he went into the grass that I started thinking differently.

Why is it those guys usually show up when I am on cone duty! I have seen this sort of thing happen more and more in the last 4-5 years, the fast a furious crowd seems to be the worst problem, they often get frustrated half way through the run and seem to think that antics somehow make up for the fact they can't get through the cones cleanly and elagantly. So far I have only seen it in AutoX, I rue the day it starts happening at DEs because thats the day someone will die, if not on the track in the pits afterward when someone smashes a jack handle onto the offendors head.

^^^^ yea I've seen it happen too.... and I haven't even been to too many auto-x'ing events. They mess up in a turn or hit a cone and then they feel the need to start doing donuts and/or burnouts...

Thats pretty much exactly it. Young F&F crowds...or drifter wannabes. Who come in..are overhyped and underskilled...think they are showing off whatever and pull this shit.

There are those who are stupid and dont know any better...who usually finish and exit too fast or burnout..they get warnings...Few learn and chill...others get booted..and other burnout again and just drive off.

And then total assholes like this one who think they are cool and showing off. And KNOW they are breaking rules and being cocks...because they just leave event ASAP.

Its hard to screen for these people, and it really drags down the whole event...and can cast a negative light on the ENTIRE AutoX in the eyes of the venue. Even though its just an isolated incident.

I have half a mind to chuck something at the windshields when I see shit like this.

Idiot...Last years, last AutoX competition, a guy in his grandfathers Lumina took the course head on and knocked down every single cone on the left hand side, he later pulls up and says "I thought your supposed to knock the cones down"...Are these people retarded?

And he actually got some nice air at the end!

So true.. I AutoX quite frequently and if a guy pulled a stunt like this, I'm sure he would have gotten his ass beaten. Pulling stunts like that can cost the group the venue. Hopefully he hit something after he flew off the track

Douche bag is right - he showed that he had NO skill what so ever and his antics coulda taken out those 2 people stuck in the middle of the track.

The good this is that I'm sure he did some pretty decent damage to the car after those antics. The Evo clutch is pretty fragile so I'm sure after that run he doens't have much life left on it (same for the tires). Lastly, I'm sure those jumps did wonders to the suspension
