Say what now? Havent read anything about that.
Also i might not even lease it, we will see how the rates are next month. Might just end up buying it and keeping it.

E90/1/2/3s have issues with the door handles sticking. Of 4 or so I've worked on, 3 had the door handles stick.
They are a great car, but I would never own one past the warrenty period. The electronics in those things scare me.

Ahh found it. Seems like an easy fix though and theres a TSB out for it.
Im not expecting this car to be as reliable as an Acura of course. We will see and if I buy it then i will be getting the extended warranty.

Yes, there is a new handle that they will just swap in. Not sure if the new cars still have that issue though I don't think the 07 I worked on had the door handle issue.

Not really a major issue with the door handles.
Im more concerned about the fuel pump failures. But then again "they" say a new design has been put in since March production.

Why do the electronics scare you? Because they are complex or because they tend to fail in the 3series? (i know the 7series is bad)
Then again maybe i dont want to know

Its not like E90s fill the lot at the dealer where I work, for the amount that are probably out there I don't see that many come in for work.

I am not sure where you got that, but I have never heard of this issue on Bimmerforum.com and e90post.com. I have no problem with my E90 door handles..

Plus overheating and engine mount problems need to keep an eye on. I heard they now offer oil cooler retrofit for those who really cry out loud... daily driver should have overheating problem supposely, it only happen to those track or autoX. I heard 335 originally designed with oil cooler retrofit, but American version has it removed for some reason. That is why I never buy 1st gen car.

Yea the missing oil coolers were for automatics with sport package. All the manuals still got the oil coolers from the start.
BMW just recently changed that and now the latest production 335i comes with them. Even with Autos.
Not a concern for me since I got the 6-speed manual.

Should I change my order and get this color interior instead of black?

Since you can't get piano black in the US, what trim would you get?

I dunno what i want. Black seems "safe" and i feel like maybe I should try something thats a little more bold.
Then again I may get sick of the saddle brown in couple years.
I can go either way to be honest.

The saddle brown interior does look good in the car.
As for exterior, my two favorite colors are the white and the blue. Black is safe, but its a bitch to keep clean.

Wish i could find a saddle brown to look at in person. Cant find any dealers around with it.
mclarenf3387, does it look more brown in person or more orange like in the pictures?
Wonder if saddle brown leather would go with Monaco Blue exterior.
Heres the combo on a vert. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...co+blue+saddle
Is $1300 more for leather worth it...
