No need to clutter up Car Talk with 20 different "appreciation" threads. All merged into one...

Okay...knock off the smart@$$ed threads, folks...

Car Talk is not the place for this sort of full-retard. And for some of you, given your years here, you should know better.

^ If Robb saw all of you shitting in Car Talk like this, he'd probably ban each one personally.

TS. Should have thought about that before you all started cluttering up Car Talk with a thread for each manufacturer all within one hour.

I had permission to make the Ferrari thread. And if you're going to have Ferrari, you are going to get Lambo and Porsche at some point.

Somebody had to call attention to the madness.

When would it stop?

Ferrari thread was one thing....then Lambo...then Porsche...then Aston Martin.....it was getting out of hand.

There is no need for individual car maker threads.

to teh modz if they had to go into crazy delete and merge mode...but it was just getting nuts.

Those are fine, and I'm not faulting you, but unfortunately the donkey's came out in full force.

You know the old saying... give an inch, take a mile. So unfortunately what started as good intentions with your thread was ruined by a few trolls... so now there will only be one master thread...

Then next time report the threads to the mods instead of starting other, ridiculous ones. I was in meetings most of the afternoon and I'm sure not all of the others were around... so a simple report on ONE of them would have drawn attention to it. Or send a PM to one of the guys you see online. Starting an AMC and Aztek thread to prove a point wasn't the way to do it.

If my actions were thought of being a troll then I am sorry. That wasn't my point. Normally when you have discussion of Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, there is also Aston Martin and Maserati. Sorry for rounding off the group. My apologies as such for wasting your time to clean it up.

Perhaps, but where's the fun in that?

Come on, you had to know that once you let a single car make thread through the cracks.....it was going to start an avalanche....too many donkeys and fanbois here to let it go.

Ferrari was here last week...then today there were pretty much one of each for every sports/super car before I entered the fray.

<----donkey

The first page would have been "shitted up" for a day and then there'd be threads people could post pictures in going forward so that all the thread trolls could yell "SEARCH NOOB" every time someone wanted to make a new thread about the latest Ferrari or whatever.

I thought it made sense

I agree and honestly, we would have likely been OK with some of those threads some of the others, but then stuff like Yugo, Aztek, and Pacer threads popped up which killed it. B/C you know if people saw that (or any appreciation thread), Car Talk would be FILLED with an "appreciation" thread for every make/model known to man as those lemmings trying to be funny started new threads to try to one up the others. So best to just nip it in the bud now...

Anyway, enough of this discussion... it now is what it is. Let's try to keep this thread alive with some yummy Euros...

I wouldn't call it ugly, but it is a bit "tame/odd" looking for a supercar.

I will say it has more soul than the soulless GTR.

Oh god, thankfully the GT-R is not European. Otherwise anyone who tries to post it in this thread deserves an instaban.

Also, motion to merge the Ferrari thread with this as well. Just because they popularized rosso corsa doesn't mean that thread should stand on it's own when Lamborghini, Porsche, etc. are all lumped in together here.

btw, Unimogs are totally bad ass. Ultimate off-road vehicle... I really want to build a Wrangler or a Taco, but that's like a mild dose compared to the pure unadulterated thing - Unimogs. Like an MR2 instead of a Carrera GT. Nothing bad about the non-exotic/non-Euro cars I mentioned, just saying.

Two reasons... #1, Cochese received approval to start that thread and #2, it has over 160 replies and is 5 pages long. Enough of the discussion about the logistics of these threads... they are staying the way they are...

My father in law used to import them and they are sick. He used to take us off-roading in them and it's just amazing how they make the steepest incline look like a molehill...

This is gorgeous. Secretly, I still wish they would put scissor doors on the Baby Bull. That's the only disappointment about the Gallardo for me.
