I have been wanting to get a TL now for the past four years. I thought my Accord had a lot of the same features at the TL, but I probably like the sound system the best from the TL.

I have been looking at swapping the CD/DVD-A changer from the TL into my 6-CD changer from my Accord. No one can tell me if that would fit.

My last option is to place a center channel speaker above the MID display in my '04 Accord with navigation.

Can I take the + side from the left speaker and the - side from the right speaker, hook them up to a center channel, and get sound? What size and ohm rating speaker would I need (maybe an eight-ohm speaker)? Would you recommend at amp?

Recommendations are appreciated, good or bad.

 

Can't say that ive ever tried that, but in theory it shouldn't work. Your not completing either of the speaker circuits in that setup. Your best bet is to just get an EQ that has a center channel output

 

You're right. What I meant is connecting the center channel as described above to the existing left and right channels (the completed circuit on each speaker). Could that work?

In other words, splicing the + from the left speaker and the - from the right speaker, and leaving those speakers connected.

I wouldn't think so, unless you connected both + 's and both -'s to the speaker, which would be sort of pointless. I suggest that instead of doing all of that, invest in the 3.sixty that does this, or better yet, upgrade to an 08TL-S

yes... that's its downfall though... I have an idea though, If you have some time and want to come up to daytona, we can expermint and take your HU out and see if it'll fit into the area.

I was at the Hilton on the beach for the E-6B Program Management Review from like May 5th - 8th.

It was spring break, so lots of cute girls there, but had to be careful because wife was with me. It was nice to visit, but no way would I want to live in Daytona. The salt on my car was INSANE!
