I hate it. It reminds me of that Eagle 4x4 wagon from the 80s. Just too much of a lifted coupe look for my tastes. The FX is teh sex though. Timeless design.

Decent article but IMHO, the X6's most direct competitor IS the X5. (While I hated the E53, the E70 is awesome!) Along those lines, I agree with this excerpt from the article:

I can't stand either of these vehicles. Infiniti butchered a good looking FX with this redesign....I absolutely can't stand the front end. BMW just failed all the way around with the X6. IMO, of course.

^ I want it for the engine and love the looks of it which is why most would want it. Article even agrees. Plus an optional twin turbo v8... how can you NOT want it.

Although i could never see myself spending that much on it. $60k suv that seats 4?

Then again, i never thought the aztek was all that bad if it had painted body panels.

Won't that TT V8 be available in the 5 at some point.

They had a bunch of X6's at Detroit in January and people were all over them. I Could barely get close.

i don't think i'd ever buy the X6, however. but i think it looks great.

there's one in our parking garage at work. the first day i saw it, there were about 4 or 5 people standing by it and staring at it.

They seem almost dead even 0-90. Not sure what happened with the 0-100 but their 1/4 times are the same. Granted the FX had a better trap speed.

Infinti warranty is till 60k miles? Thats nice!!

I don't like these stupid cross-overs to begin with. Still, the X6 doesn't look that bad....

The X6 seems to be faster until 60mph, then starting at 70mph, the FX is slightly faster, with a 0.4s difference for the 0-80mph run, but at 90mph, the difference is 0.1s again. But north of that, the difference becomes more apparent. Probably the extra torque of the X6 helps it to accelerate from a dig, but the FX's weight helps it to regain the advantage at higher speeds.

I really disliked the X6 when I first saw the car. Now I'm starting to like it. It looks sexy even though I still have a little trouble with the 3/4 rear. The X5 is the logic choice. Infiniti looks great as well.Hopefully it keeps the same exhaust note. Can't wait to test drive these

And X6 Xdrive35i, that's a mouthful.
