driving

so i think there needs to be more posts in the "street encounters" section. i drive around all of the time just to drive my beloved car. i have gotten no "challenges". @ any rate i was driving home last night when this what appeared to be a brand new accord (the same one i read about on here and how they are faster than us and all?) anyway, the car past me doing about 55-60 in a 45mph zone i was travelling at 50.

i crept up a bit but didn't really intiate anything and when we got to a light and were beside each other, nothing went down..but then it looked like a newer mustang convertible at the next light felt frisky. the accord was nearing the mustang and the stang sped up once the accord got beside it the accord didn't try to keep up .. so i followed the mustang, (accord is in the passing lane).

next light accord is beside the mustang, the mustang tears off from the light, i wasn't expecting this but when i saw what was happening i stepped on it, gaining on the mustang after it had gotten a length ahead of me from the unexpected jump from the light i move over to the passing lane because the accord was already @ least 8 car lengths back not wanting to run, i'm winding out 2nd @ like 55 and the mustang hits its fucking brakes and turns off! Mother F'er @!

it's the 1st time i've had a chance to feel/see the power of car along with another car going WOT and the jackknife bailed. it was nice jumping like that from the light and winding out, since i've yet to do that. just thought i'd share my pretty much pointless story with you all, this is the Ramblings section.

My last car was a 2K V6 Mustang and now iv got an 03 CL-S just like you. I can say that the CL-S is WAAAAAY faster than the stang easily.

5.1 secs? I think the publications you quote these figures from were probably testing the 300 hp GT, and not the V6 variant. I have a six speed Accord, and although quick, it certainly isn't as fast as a Mustang GT.
