Drag racing: spring spacers?

Someone recommend i get spring spacers in the rear of my car to help with the weight transfer during launching the car.

i have never heard of these things. have any of you guys used them? sounds kinda sketchy to me.

Why not just get adjustable dampers...or coilovers like everyone else?

As you know, front wheel drive cars have notoriously poor traction. Spaces help to keep the rear end from squatting so much which, in turn, reduces some weight transfer.

Spacers seem like a cheap solution. Do what CLpower said if all your looking for is reducing weight transfer off the line.

it has been a thought but i cant justify the expense for the few times i actually go to the track per season.

i already have custom poly radius rod arm bushings, 85a mounts and tq dampeners to kill the wheel hop. now its all about weight transfer
