Don't hate it, just don't like to run it. But pretty much the same.

And if that bothers people, think about who the real douchebag is....

They are probably all cold and think your crazy. I remember when it drop into the 60's in the winter when I was down there people thought I was insane to just have a long sleeve tee on while they were wearing heavy sweatshirts.

I drive with my windows down when the temperature is between 60 and 80 degrees. Any colder than 60, windows up with the climate control on. Any hotter than 80, windows up with the A/C on.

And I agree with the people that say that if you're getting weird looks from people while driving with the windows down, it's probably the music you have obnoxiously blasted.

well, my satellite radio trial ended. no more BPM or XL Hip Hop stations. lets see how this plays out now.

maybe if i play more Pitbull ill blend in better.

i also have obnoxious yellow fogs & drls with a white on white grille setup, along with black emblems in the rear. that could be it as well. at least i lost the NY plates. haha, on second thought, its probably just the ride. im dropping it 2" next week, so things may only get worse.

I like driving on streets with the sunroof open whenever possible, and on warm evenings with the sunroof and all windows open.

On freeways and hot days, everything is closed and A/C is on auto.

I think it's the NY plates and bright lights.....

Today was probably the first good day in weeks of storms. So all my windows were down and sunroof open. Music wasn't blazing though I'm not in HS. On a warm night I prefer the windows open as opposed to AC on.

Climate control is on 99% of the time I am driving my Mini...if I open my sunroof, I will open both windows, but only a quarter of the way down. I don't like too much wind. When I do want all that wind, I drive a convertible...

I like lowering only the rear windows if I want fresh air without the wind in my face.

If it's not raining and I'm on my own, I drive with my windows down all the time... day or night. If there are girls in my car I'll roll the windows up if they complain about their hair flying all over the place. I mostly do this because I hate the feeling of AC in a car, I have 15% tint all around, and because I'm a douche.

I must be a douche, as if it's warm and sunny, the windows are down. I'm even amazed how many people will cruise around on twisty, undulating country highways on great days with all the windows up. Since no human would do that, I've decided they must be zombies.

Windows down, sometimes t-tops off anywhere between 40-80 degrees I tan like a guido, except I do it naturally.

I even crack open the windows on the freeway if it's nice outside. Typically I'll only use the A/C or have my windows up if it's freezing outside or it's humid or really hot outside.

I don't listen to country, but don't you think someone could say the same thing about your music?

Actually, no, cause everything you do and like is "normal" and anything that differs from your tastes is weird

If you have a Toyota Solara convertible with the top down and windows up, you are watching too much of The View. And that would qualify for immortal douche status.

In south Fla, you'll put them up come May. I promise.

I think the OP forgot to mention he drives like Ace Ventura when he has the windows down. No wonder he's getting weird looks.

I rarely put the windows down, regardless of weather. Just my preference.

Looking at your sig, both your cars have dark coloured interiors. Doesn't it get very hot in the summer? My car's unbearable when parked in the sun. Or is that "rarely"?

1) I don't care what other people think
2) I like fresh air
3) There is little to no humidity where I live and unless it's July or August, I generally don't need the A/C on.

I don't like country music much either but you know what I find just as amusing? People trying to 'dance' to hip hop. Separate but equal.

It gets very humid here. I'll put the windows down to let the car air out after it's been sitting in the sun, but otherwise I prefer A/C to humidity when driving.

The weather permits many times in my area to drive with the windows down and sunroof open and I love to take advantage of that when I can. Most of the time when I do that I don't even have my music for a couple reason. First when I have the windows open, I'm usually just enjoying the drive and don't need additional 'music'...but also with my stock system, the volume has to be 3/4's the max output minimum for me to even hear it at highway speeds, so .

I don't understand why it'd be considered douchey unless you're doing something else that would contribute to that stereotype such as ridiculously loud music. Even if it's something I like, it's kind of to have your music that loud.

I think my desire to drive with the windows down when the weather permits stems from an inner desire to own a roadster. I'd love to have one one day. I actually just rode in a vert for the first time about 6 months ago, and it's actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be.

I don't think you'll be a douche if you have all windows rolled down. However, I think those who have all windows down and blasting their radio are douches!!!

Maybe the status quo is windows up because the humidity is so oppressive. "Only a douche would drive with the windows down in Miami." BTW the month with the lowest avg humidity in Miami is April. No fooling.

2. maybe i just look like a gringo in a lexus. nuff said.

Douche? Maybe. Braggart? Certainly, which may be the underlying reason you are asking the question in the first place.

Not bustin' you out, just sayin'.

I don't think he came off as bragging But I still don't understand how driving around with the windows down is douchey. Did it today for the first time this year, it was great.
