Music sucked, but the STi should have the better hole shot since it's AWD.

That was a sentra SER, i think he also had a turbo, not a bad race if you ask me. The STi won the first one because of AWD, but got handled by the sentra when they took a rolling start from 35mph. The guys taping were cocky if you ask me.

 

Was that Spec V boosting? Given how that run from a roll went, I hope the Spec was boosting for the STi's sake. Too bad Nissan didnt give the Spec AWD and a boosted QR25DE (running at 1 bar); then we'd see how even things would get.

 

yep.... that SER Spec V is running on 8 psi

 

Compare that to the STi with 25 or so PSI . I think the sentra came out a winner in that race, : to the guys commenting on the video.

 

I guess each have their win, but for me, I call the win to the more powerful car which was the sentra in the 2nd race. Awd lauches seem to make a car fast from a stop when its really not, fast imo comes from the engine at rolling speeds, not from traction at a stop.

 

2nd, that music was way too loud and the following car was way too slow.

 

the car following and the guy taping was lame. the editor is too stupid to put the music in instead of letting us listen to the music of turbo engines.

 

I'm starting to wonder if the STi driver was in the right gear for that
rolling start. He got his arse handed to him.
