Does the car need Alignment?

this question is actually regarding my girl 04 honda accord coupe, i recently bought some 17" honda accord v6 wheels to put on her accord, it looks great but now the streering wheel is not centered, its a little to the left when the car is going straight, i brought it by a local tire shop and they did an alignment but the steering wheel is still not straight, did they not do a good job? or could something else be wrong?

they may have over adjusted your tie rod ends? at a shop a steering wheel alignment is sometimes overlooked.....sad but true, go find another shop and get it done again then take your recipt to the first shop and tell them to refund your money, errors in front tow or erros in rear toe can cause steering wheel miss alignemt

take a look at this it may answer some questions

Did you buy brand new tires or did they come with some used ones mounted that you are using?

I should have also asked what happens if you let go of the steering wheel. Does the car track straight or pull to the right? If it pulls, it is due to uneven tire wear caused by lack of tire rotation by the previous owner. If you swap the two front tires, you should notice it either pulls right or corrects itself. This is very common when people change their tires for the winter or summer and they haven't been good at rotating tires. They will place different tires at different corners and the car will act like it needs an alignment but the alignment tech says it's all in spec.
