Do dealers trade tires out

I am looking at possibly getting an 06 civic si and there are 2 tire options. There are the normal tires and the summer tires. The summer tires are $200 more.
The normal tires are Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 selling for $185.00 each on tire rack and the summer tires are Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 selling for $156.00 each. The HX's have really bad ratings and the Exalto's have much better. I am looking for something in between those two tires though, b/c I am a spirited driver but I am going to be doing alot of highway driving and don't want to have loud tires or lowsy wet traction etc. So I really want a set of Avon Tech M550's, they are ultra high performance all seasons and are only $103 each at Tire rack. My mom has them on her TL and they are great. My question is do dealers swap tires out? Like could I tell them I will do a straight up trade for the 550's? Or could I take it to a tire place?
How should I go about this without getting raped in price?
Thanks!

You could try, but I doubt it will work.

just buy the car, sell the wheels/tires and put new wheels/tires on.

Yeah just get the car with the stock tires. Buy the new ones & have a tire place swap them out. Then you can sell the tires on Ebay & get some of your $$ back. Why would you want to give new stock tires to the dealer for free?

unless the car comes with 2 different kinds of tires, that would be the only exception. I used to work at a Lexus store, the ES300 at the time came with both the Bridgestone Potenza tires or the Michelin Energy tires. This was during the Bridgestone/Firestone fiasco with the Ford Explorer, I had wayyyy too many requests from customers asking me if their comes with the Bridgestone tires to switch them for the Michelin tires. It wasn't a big deal because we didn't have to take the tires off the wheel, only switch the wheels/tires together. It was annoying, but that's what I had to do to make a customer happy.

FYI, I got my G35x with the EL42 POS tires, switched them immediately for a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. Sold the EL42's to absorb some of the loss in the cost for the new tires.

that means no. I am trying to decide whether it is worth selling the michelins and puttin on avon tech m550's or just waiting till the stockers die.
I started a thread on 8th gen today but haven't gotten very useful responses yet:

keep me updated on what you decide to do. I think I am gonna order my si this week and it will be here in 6-8 weeks so i have some time to make my decision

Edit: BTW 8th gen will be down this weekend for upgrades so the link probably won't work and i don't know if you need to be a member to view the thread
