Differences between a Toyota 4Runner SR5 and 4Runner Limited

I am in the market for used, older 4Runner and I see quite a few SR5's around, and a couple Limited models. Anyone know what the differences between the two are? I am looking at a 1999-2002 4Runner. TIA.

i think the limited comes with leather, wood grain trim, and a bunch of other little things. im not sure if it comes with the hood scope. i think it was an option for both. anyways the limited is nicer..more luxury and the the sr5 is more of your everyday type of truck....

my pick would be a limited with a hood scoop. and painted silver..very clean and nice looking truck.

the limited also has a button 4wd-hi feature...the sr5 is the regular 4wd shift lever thing to put in 4wd hi or low.

but yeah, the limited is the plusher version. I don't know about the hood scoop and all those options, taht may be another trim (a sport trim?)

I'd skip the non-functional hood scoop on a very slow SUV... what's the point? It doesn't even look good.

Hood scoop is part of the sport package. In the limited you get sunroof, rear heat, and the leather, etc.

Wife had a 2000 Sport with the hood scoop, and it was the most gawdawful uncomfortable vehicle I have ever had the displeasure of riding/owning.
You may want to look at the newer body style to see if they are more comfortable.

I think you can get the SR5 with a "Limited" type package.
