Dad just picked up an '07 camry

So my dad picked up a FULLY loaded Camry XLE today... everything except for Navi. The leather seats and interior is just plain sick. No doubt, this is the best camry I've ever seen! My buddy hooked me up at the dealership, entire transaction took about 15 minutes. I called about 5-6 dealerships, no one would budge on sticker ($300-500 off sticker was my best deal-----fck that!!) Problem is, camry is really hot right now and selling like hot cakes. My dad can't really wait either for a few months.... The guy I worked with went a little bit over 2k below sticker for me!

Congrats to your dad. I think the VW Passat is the best looker out of the midsize, but the Camry's a close second.

I'm starting to see a lot of them around town and I think they look way nicer than people give credit. Heck they look nicer than the more expensive Avalon and many others in their class (i.e. Accord, Altima, Fusion, etc...IMO). Especially the hybrid ones with the LED tail lights.

Although the Camry is still hot, depending on where you live CarMax's Toyota dealerships are giving about 2K off on a higher dollar Camry and it is no haggle. CarMax and Fitz auto mall are great places to get a lot of standard line cars for great discounts.

BTW Congrats to your dad, 4 or 6? Color? I really like the new Camry and along with a short list of others including the TSX I am thinking of it for my road car replacement, but if I get the Camry it will be the SE for the charcoal interior (easier to keep clean than lighter colors for my uses) and the tighter suspension as I found the normal suspension to be a little too floaty for me.

I was pushing pops to get the V6, he was dead set on the 4banger. I even pulled out the efficiency of the V6 and it's gas milage compared to the 4 cl. 4 cl only get 1 mile more on highway and city!

That's a great deal for an 07 Camry. But I don't like how it look without the factory bodykit. It's bloated looking without it.

I was looking at those. I think that are pretty sharp looking cars. Post some pics.

If your dad doesn't care about speed or horsepower, 4banger will do just that. After all, it's a camry..... not a sports car.

Nice choice. I'm definitely loving the new camry (just dont tell our accord friends)? Not to jack the thread, but how are you liking that Z? I almost bought a track one early this year

Hope it hasn't blown up yet. Our 2nd replacement camry after Toyota just replaced the first one due to Tranmission failure just died today, same problem. Tranny died at 1500 miles.

Toyota can kiss our butt on any more Camrys. We will likely get a Avalon or another brand for a replacement. Sad to see our XLE 07 Camry w/Navi go, but can't keep relying on a issue like this.
