^ The list isn't exactly accurate and I have not verified anything. Just thought it was interesting. And what makes you think that Ayrton Senna did not own an NSX? And did you make a typo? He died in 1994. How could he have a 2003 NSX?

It is perfectly reasonable to assume that Senna had an NSX, and probably was given to him for free.
Honda NSX
To take advantage of the close relationship Honda had with the Brazilian prodigy during his tenure as #1 driver for the McLaren/Honda F1 Team, Ayrton Senna was called in to fine-tune the Honda NSX's suspension setting during its final development stages. The tests were conducted at Suzuka Circuit with chief NSX engineer Shigeru Uehara and his engineering team present to gather Senna's direct input. As a result of his suspension tuning, Senna subsequently found the prototype NSX initially lacked chassis stiffness to the level he was accustomed to, so the final production version was further reinforced to his satisfaction. Dubbed the 1992 NSX Type-R it is a limited version of the car, sold mainly within Japan.

Rarity doesn't mean a car is nice ![Wink](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
But in this case it does! Overall I don't see many NSXs on the road anyway so its a good thing

Honda built a special edition NSX called the Zanardi edition for the back-to-back championships. They built a special contraption for him to drive it even though he was paralyzed. I think only 50 of the Zanardi editions were built...

Alright we all know MC Hammer went bankrupt...which one of you took up his NSX...

For a long time Gordon Murray used his NSX as a daily driver, that says an awful lot about the car, he may even still have it. That said I am unsure of the significance most of the celeb's on that list that have owned/do own a NSX

You totally get what you pay for. So i found a good deal on some used HRE wheels. Only $2700 shipped with tires. The seller said they were in "good" condition and the wheels are 3 years old. He posted pics of them on the car but no close ups. (stupid on my part)
This is what i end up with.

Bend

Bigger bend

Now for the price i paid, do i bother to even bitch about this? I should have known the price was too good to be true.
Guess I can drop another 700 on these wheels to get them fixed with an all new finish.

Hey Jesal,
Sorry to hear about what happened. I'm not sure what bitching will accomplish. I seriously doubt he'll refund any of the $$$ you sent. But definitely post on 'prime what kind of underhanded deal that guy has orchestrated.
If you really like the rims, you can pay to get them refinished.
Call this a lesson learned about buying rims without close-ups...

Who cares if they were a deal or not, he lied.
Worst case, you get them fixed on your own dime, but Id at least ask.

Ouch...sorry about the wheels.
Say, question for both synth19 and Crazy Acura: You boys going to go after some Comptech parts for your rides?
