Crashed the CL and bought a Saleen
Well guys i have lurked around here for a while now but i now no longer have a cl.This dude decided to blow a stopsign and tried to make it across 6 lanes of rushhour traffic attempting to thread the needle when i lit him up going 70Kph...Anyway this is an amazing site with very informative and knowledegable members that i will still visit every week...

Congrats!
Looks very nice. If you don't mind me asking, who brought the car into Canada? Was it a dealer or private individual?

Thanks guys! Yeah i didn't post a whole lot in my time but i was on a-zine damn near every day...The difference i find with this forum vs others is that we all have a true love for ALL cars, bikes etc...Its good that we not only find imports but also domestics appealing in their own way....But yeah gas is going to be a bitch but i am ok with that...If i do die in this car which is always a good possibility it will be with one hell of a smile on my face! The car is actually #1032 of 1351 built but it is 1 of 79 SuperCharged Convertibles..(Bad Info from the dealer and various websites had me believe the previous)/...But a quick call to saleen straightened that out. Now i just have to decide if i should mod it or leave it stock...Im thinkin a few mods here and there won't hurt..What do you guys think? Im thinkin maybe a upgrade kit from saleen to push the hp from 400 to 475..I always think like a good small town boy GO BIG OR GO HOME hahaha
Terry-The previous owner was a Ford Of Canada employee and yes he brought it in from the states.
is300eater- can't beat acurazine!
Coconut-I didn't do to bad with insurance...My CL had 130,000 k and they paid me out 17,000 plus i was able to keep my rims so i did ok....

Thanks guys!!....The CL will defiantley be missed...I am just kinda paranoid now about someone lighting me up in the saleen...Oh well i have crashed 3 bikes and got back up on them time and time again so i can't see this being any different...Everytime i sit in this car tho i am grinning ear to ear..But the best is always when i turn the key and awaking the monster! haha
