That's a sedan. My dad has a 05 G35x sedan and it looks exactly like that on the inside.

The 2003 looks like a sedan, 4 power window buttons plus 2 others...the 2005 pic looks like a coupe, only 2 window buttons and two others...

Yup.

Honestly, I like the G35, but if your CL is paid for, I would rather take the money that you would put towards the G and put it into the CL. Make it stand out. My 01 CL-S was paid for and I ended up trading it in for my TL. I would have been happier putting that money into the CL rather than getting the TL, but I never thought about it. How many miles do you have on the CL?

Personally I think if you were to upgrade your CL you would have a better car than the G. If you think about it an 03-04 G for 13K or less is going to have at least 70K+ miles, I looked into it, and I thought it wasn't worth it.

With a $2000 dollar down payment and $250 or so a mo/ you can do so much to your CL. I would go with a Big Brake kit as my first mod, then lightweight wheels and upgraded tires.

Well, the reasons I'm getting out of the CL, are:

A. Resale value will soon be nothing at all, and I can still get a decent (well whats considered decent nowadays) amount for it now, while its still around 106k miles...
B. The tranny is always something on my mind, whether I go to work/school or on a long highway trip, I'm constantly thinking about it going out...it was replaced 40k miles ago...
C. I would like to get something newer...its almost a 10 year old car (made in 2000 sold in early 2001)
D. Insert various obvious reasons here " "

I understand what you're saying, but I won't have a payment with the G either, I will be paying cash..and the sedan G's are going for around $9k, plus a thousand or two if you want the coupe..

Very good reasons to want a new car. Sounds like you have been thinking about this for a while.

Have you considered any other cars besides the G35? Maybe an A4 sedan, 3-series sedan, etc...

I sure have, but I think as my family has always done, I will also stick to Japanese brands...the Audi and BMW would eat a college student alive with maintenance/repair costs.

(I know the G won't be cheap by any means, but I believe I should be able to handle it over the costs of German maintenance)

Maint. on the G is not going to be that bad. If you have the coupe with 19s the tire are expense but other than that I haven't paid for any random repairs.

I service the G at the Nissan dealer, which has a cheaper labor rate than the Infiniti for the same type of work.

I used to own a 2001 A4 V6 ultra sport and never had any problems with it. Parts and labor are definitely more expensive but the reliability has gotten a lot better.

Maintenance costs are fairly inexpensive, as are parts. I prefer working on the G over the TL

I thought Hondas would be easier to work on than Nissans for some reason...

More room for pretty much everything.

The clutch in the G took me about 4 hours. I don't even want to think about how long it will take in the TL.

I have a feeling major maintenance will be easier in the G just because the engine is facing the right direction
