Considering changing the seats- need input

What do you guys think of a two-tone interior? It already has quite a bit of orange and black, but thinking of changing the carpet to black and also ordering Black leather Recaro Sportster's with custom orange stitching. Thoughts?

These are the Sportster CS seats I am considering. I would get the Recaro logo in orange and also get custom orange stitching:

Going for this look:

Current interior:

You seriously the worst NSX mod ever!

Wrong section!!

Two tone would look perfect if you get black carpet.

Oh, and my OEM seats are in GREAT condition... another "justification" in removing them is to preserve them.

get the type-R recaro's. Those things are the best seats ever, tons of support. Though they support your body, they will make your bank account cry...

OR

just go with the Recaro Pole Positions in black. The Recaro Profi's look nice too...

Type-R, like 10k per seat? LOL
Pole Positions- nice, but like the reclinable action of these.

yup, 10K each plus Type-R rails for 2K each from SOS. They are carbon Kevlar and honda marks these up so folks won't do Type-R Conversions that easily. Have you look in to the stratus seats there was a GB for on nsxprime? I think those reclined...

Yes, if thats actually an option with you, i would keep the stock seats and just get black carpet. I think that be perfect in your case.

Your idea (black carpet, black seats with orange stitching) sounds awesome! Are you planning on blacking the lower door panels and lower console paneling?

No, I don't want to do something that isn't "reversable." The lower console panels are also part of the dash (Yes, it's one piece). I'm now debating on keep the carpet as is, and just doing the seats.... I have a potentiall deal on a used set of those seats. The problem is that they are all black, with no orange stitching. I would need to bring the seats to an upholstery place and have them do what I want... too many options!

Really? Wow. That'll look kind of odd having the tan lower door panels and tan lower console panels (door trim, too) with a black dash, black carpet, and black seats.

As for the stitching, you might be able to work something out with one of our local members on that. He's done some stuff for a few people on here.

+1 for keeping the stock seats...

Only reason for going to an aftermarket seat is if you need 5 point harnesses. You're not going to race this, so aftermarket seats (even if wrapped in leather) look ricey in a street car. This isn't a civic or a 350z. Leave it stock

Wow, talk about a coincidence! I did a chop and these were my thoughts exactly. I didn't like how the two tone looked with the doors 1/2 orange and the lower center console trim orange, with everything else black. It looked kinda weird. Sticking with OEM. Thanks for the input everyone!

friend of mine has recaro pole positions in his M3

blk leather/suede/red stitching.

its my fav mod he has done to his car. the interior looks much more aggressive, but with the custom accents it keeps it luxurious.

if you do something that route i think you will be

Id love to get a set of recaros, but with most of the mounts for them i cant fit in my car, they raise the seat too high and i need all the head room i can get.

Keep it stock

Or.. keep the stock seat frames and put two-tone suede on them.
