I went to the Jeep dealership yesterday in my rental Sebring (... long story about that). Anyway, the SRT8s come in 4 colors in Canada: silver, dark gray, steel blue, and black. They didn't have any SRT8s on the lot or any GCs in steel blue. They did have a 300M in steel blue and it does remind me a lot of the BMW steel blue. Now ... projecting that color onto a GC ... not sure if that's the right color on that type of body style. I did like the look of the silver GC they had in the showroom. I could see how you would want something different than any other Jeep on the road. I do agree it is a very subtle color and you would definitely have a 'unique' OEM exterior color.

Well ... if you wanted a different exterior, you can always do a custom paint job... then there's the option of a grill, matching gold teeth, etc ...

Agreed, the SRT8 I drove didn't have Nav and the dash looked like crap.

I'm sure that's the reason they still haven't sold it yet.

For 07, if you order Nav you also get the backup camera.

Well, color is a tough one.

Obviously, steel blue seems to be favored.

Decision to be made very soon.

Thanks again for the comments.

I thought you may be looking for an SRT-8. I saw your handle in the Cherokeesrt8.com thread where everyone was bashing John Hennessey (and he was bashing back...)

I am not a Silver fan anymore but I think that would be the right color since you do not want black.

Silver!

It ranges......people are getting anywhere from 11-16 miles pg (give or take).

Also, that John Hennessey thread was entertaining. The guy is such a d-bag.

Steel Blue... The silver ext. doesn't match with the grey int.in my book. Plus the Chrome wheels look better on the steel blue.
