OK, I've made the decision to ditch the S8 and go for an A8L. Preferrably an 04 since the grille is more likable for me. Here's the colors, which one?


Arctic White

Brilliant Black

Light Akoya silver

Midnight Blue Pearl Effect

Oyster Gray Metallic

I love black but it's a beotch to keep clean in western New York; white makes a car look bigger but I like it, and the Oyster gray I think, looks classy.
Whaddya think?

Hey chief. My dad has an 05 in oyster gray metallic. Its nice, but it almost looks like a really dark shade of purple in the wrong light. I've seen a black one before and I think it accentuates the chrome a bit too much. I'd go with the light silver.

The A8L is a big car, I would lean towards a darker color to make it seem as small as possible, so the grey or blue would be my choice.

The very last thing I want to do is emulate or follow anything that kinky haired POS has to say. That puts oyster gray at the bottom of the list j/k.

I'd go with the dark blue, however thats pretty much the same as black in terms of washing the car. White would look verrry nice, very clean.

Y'know, I had a white 92 Prelude that I absolutely loved looking at. It was clean looking even when it was dirty. Didn't show swirls either. I've been leaning towards white for a while, my wife sez she likes the black better but we already own two black cars (ZR and 330xi) and know what a bitch it is to keep those clean. It's gonna be a little while before I get it but this is the car I will buy I have decided. It's big, you don't see them everywhere, it looks better than a 740/S class; and has awd. I like the disappearing video screen in the dash, that's a great touch.

 

A8's don't come in red? I think Audi's only look cool when they are red.

If no red, go for silver or black.

 

I parked next to a black one ( S8 )last night and it was pretty nice looking.
