I just saw a grey CX9 driving through town-black all the way.
I seen a grey CX-9 siganture model on the road earlier today and first off wow it’s good looking and second off definitely black. It had this nasty greenish tint to it. Yeah no thanks.

I'm in the same boat, waiting on the new 6 to hit dealers here. Between a GT R & Signature.
Not sure all the differences on the CX9, but on the 6 a Signature adds: 360 camera, F & R parking sensors, chestnut , black headliner, different grille, Japanese Sen wood trim & 'ultrasuede' dash.
If the Chestnut looks good in person, I'll try to swing a Signature, otherwise, I think I'll be plenty happy with a GTR instead. Parking sensors are an add-on item for the GTR, not sure if the 360 camera could be DIY added later.

I highly doubt it and even if you could, it would probably be prohibitively expensive. You can for sure add the parking sensors later though. There are even dealer installed options for those.
Meh, you don't even need a 360 cam. I'd say even with just back up sensors, you're golden. I can see the desire in having a 360 cam, but at the same time, I think you could easily live without it.
On paper, it's looking like a GTR for me, unless the Signature just blows me away.
Definitely want to see both in person, curious on the different gauges in the Signature as well. I imagine the frameless rearview mirror from the Signature would be a simple DIY add as well.
Back to CX9 talk, I agree that it's not worth the price jump to the Signature.
All you add is the (IMO) nappa leather (not a fan of the color), ambient lighting, LED lit grille, Signature-specific leather wrapped wheel with contrast stitching, Rosewood trim. Not enough content for the $ increase ($2k).

Exactly my thoughts, especially the color of the leather seats. They look better in person than online but still. I think the interior looks nicer in black and then it came down to ambient lighting (no) and the LED grille (ditto). Every other thing on the GT is the same otherwise.
I personally like the grey, because my Subie was DGM (Diamond Grey Metallc) and the look was excellent. But the black looks good too.
So for curiosity, $47K for a CX9? I hope it has every option under the sun to include the ass cooling seats.
Ventilated seats are only available on the 2018 Mazda6 GT R & Signature so far, likely to trickle into other models next. Same with AndroidAuto & Apple CarPlay, first available on the 6 with potential updates into other models.

Nice deal, hoping to be able to get a good deal on a 6 later this month.
