CLUTCH kit is in...

well, I bought this kit from Mike (cl8tr). I've put 47.2 miles as of speak. I'll baby it until break-in period. Looks like it will do the job, I hope so...

specs:
-T6 billet Aluminum flywheel (very light and very clean surface)
-6 puck carbon/kevlar "NEW" (sprung) disk
-Sachs PP that he claims to hold 800-1000 pounds of torque (very clean surface)

so far, i can't really tell the difference cause i can't gun the car right now, It's smooth like the OEM. One thing i noticed is that it revs faster than OEM (duh?). On the way home, If I put it on 6th gear, it feels like it's on 4th doing 80mph

I will post more update after i reached 500 miles.

also, I've put 3 bottles of GM MTF syncromesh oil, took the old out...

so, it's either or on this product, the verdict...

...coming soon!

Talking ???

ok, maybe a picture will get you guys going

above set came from 7th gen Accord V6 6spd, below are from my CL-S 6spd. Yes, they are the same as the CL-S 6spd clutch and flywheel!

7th gen flywheel w/ NRG dampner...

Aluminum flywheel fits like a glove on the 7th gen Accord, actually the whole kit will fit, but it won't work on the newer TL and 7th gens...

Getting ready...

installing... Don't mind the broken cogs, that came from the 7th gen broken tranny we used that to align "it"

your gonna love it ziggy, the flywheel makes a huge difference especially with boost. try not to drive it on the freeway to much until broken in, its recommended that you give it anywhere from 500-1000miles of street driving for proper transition of 100% kevlar fiber. its gonna grab like ceramic but without the obscene shudder. be prepared to buy some axles soon as well nick seen the damage on my old cl-s from the boost and clutch-flywheel setup. broke both axles simultaneously.....when you buy them go to auto zone because of the lifetime warranty and they only run about 80 bucks each

i'm taking your words for it.

you know, it kinda scares me that you have those "2 red box" below your post count it reads "cl8trr is infamous around these parts"

but anyway, i know i'm taking a risk here, but who doesn't? That's one of the beautyness and uglyness on modding a car. Even an approved product has it's own page...

some di** left me negative points repeatedly, oh well, I have a good idea on who it is though. Ziggy I went to get the flywheel resurfaced and they told me its to thin? they said its been milled before, whats up with that?

milled? i thought oem can not be resurfaced? CCauto said they bought it brand new together with the pp and clutch... as far as performance, when i have that in my car, i don't have a problem with it it should be fine...
