cls6 vs. semi.... not good

So sun night I was comin home from a friends house about 25 miles away. About 3 miles from his house i was getting onto a main road and BAM!!!! I look and see my pass side airbag deployed and my face is burning. Out of shock I get out of the car and call my brother who lives down the road from where the accident was. What hit me? A Semi with no trailer on it. thank god. spent the last 2 nights in the hospital. For the mostpart I'm ok. The car isnt and the truck is totaled as well. Goin to check out the car in a couple hours and hope to have some pics. A buddy sent a cell pic of my car and all i have to say is damn. Can't believe im here to write this!

On the right side of the page there is a "Browse" button for you to add the file (one at a time)
Click upload

Once complete, near to the bottom of the page is a "Share with Friends" or something like that

Copy that and paste it between [IMG] [/IMG]

That should work

PS glad you're okay

ouch that sux bro!

i have some past experince with a truck myself.

my friend totalled my prelude in a similar fasion. 75mph into a standing semi. here's the results. (my boi came out with a few bruised ribs and some scratchs BTW, and the roof was NOT cut up but EMS but rather from hitting the truck)

Your ok, that's the important thing.

However I'd like to hear details on how this happened. Who was at fault? Who did what?

from the damage it looks like it was almost a head on collision

How do you not know a semi is coming at you?

Wow, that's the one vehicle on the road I wouldn't want to have a run in with, a freaking semi. Thank God you're okay and no one was hurt really bad.

I still dont know who was at fault. I'm pretty sure the truck crossed the double line. All I remember is lookin over and seein my pass. side airbag deployed. I wish I could describe how I didnt see the truck, Just a little hard to explain on the computer. I just am so happy that im still alive and can tell you guys this story. The garage that I went to clean my car out said that there aren"t too many people that tangle with 18-wheelers and can come clean out the car.

Took some more pics and I'll post them I'll just have to have one of you guys make it so you dont have to go to the link.

Thanks for all your support.

Fixed.

And good to hear you're okay.

I almost got t-boned by a semi about 6 or 7 years ago. I luckily managed to swerve out of the way.

thanks for the fix AZ.

We are a fault state. just went to police station to pick up my license. cop said he was gonna issue a ticket for me running a stop sign and unsafe driving. which is complete BS. no one witnessed the accident but for me and the truck. sucks when you cant speak for yourself. thats why we have lawyers i guess.

Glad to hear you are ok, CLs are very safe cars, especially when you crash with a semi.

the whole body is twisted. the truck came up over the pass side A pillar. Axle sheared off the tranny. either way if they didnt total the car and rebuilt it, I would never drive it again.
