Cls55 - Amg

what do you guys think?

this is the car that dealer has and is asking for 130,000$ US

My parents are interested in this car.
since not many people in scandinavia have one, so i dont know what they think of amg version of CLS.

does anyone have cls amg on this board, or maybe anyone knows of a good amg forum?

That car is awesome, i love how they got ris of all the chrome accents. I would lose the wheels and get black face polished lip. Your parents should def, get the car.

I saw an CLS the other day and thought it looked very different from other MBs so I liked it. I was iffy on the rims but after looking at it a while, it's growing on me. But it still looks sort of like a bank robbery getaway car.

Fake wood in a high-end MB? Pics probably doesn't do the interior justice ... it's real wood.

Hey -- if your folks have the $$$ for the car, then go for it. After my bro's experience with a C32 ... he'll never buy another MB again. One thing about MB -- great interior / fit/finish and good exterior looks, but with so many electronics, its reliability is suspect.

That car isn't worth that kind of coin. It should be about 20k less, at least

This most likely is the exchange rate from Krona (Sweden's currency) to USD.

Try converting the price of a Euro Accord from British Pounds to USD...that's one expensive Accord.

i paid around 55000$ for my honda accord so i think 130,000$ is ok for this car, although it is more expensive then bmw M5, but it looks a lot better than the bmw also.

if u think 55000$ for my accord is expensive then how about denmark or norway where the pay almost 83000 $ for it.

The Euro Accord costs $38,598.81USD when converted from Kroner. That's about $12,000 more than what you pay.

Tarrifs and taxes are much higher overseas.

uhh... need to lose the circa 80's Buick T-Type treatments ASAP....(the wheels, tailpipes, grille, etc)

I saw a CLS55 for the first time last night in a parking garage in Chicago - I could not help but stare. It was black as well but did not have the T-type treatments. It had dark tint and was just AMAZING. The wheels are amazing... I was just in awe. Honestly - I think I would take that car over an M5... just based on looks. The CLS65, yes definitely over an M5.

I have a CL65 and CLS55 sitting in our shop. I can take pics if you like. Actually the CL-65 won't be back till next Wed. It's loaned out to a journalist.

The CLS55 is a fun car. I would take it over the CL-55.

Srika... Hell yea I would take a CL-65 over a M5. Although I do love the M3 & M5. Just not a huge fan of some of the interior.

this is the first cls-55 amg i have seen in flesh and i think the black theme looks amazing in person maybe not too good in pictures.

but i have seen the new m5 in stockholm a few times and i think it such an ugly car for what really is an amazing machine.
at first i thought m5 looks amazing and when i saw cls i dont think there is a no better looking 4 door car except my honda accord

bmw m5

yes NJ_CLS_driver more cls 55 pictures would be nice to see so that i can compare...

TLS on 19z thanks for the link

AMG does a great job by producing cars faster than BMW M division there is almost 2 years waitíng list for the M5.

I just watched the top gear review of it a few days ago and that car looks phenomenal in motion. I would take it over the new M5 in a heartbeat.

Only US$39k for a Euro Accord? In Singapore, expect to pay US$150k to have the chance to own and drive an Accord for 10 yrs. Road tax on a small island with a lot of rich people = high price for average car. You'll pay another 50% of your cost to drive it another 10 yrs.

Sorry if I this thread. In comparison, a US$130k CLS AMG VS $55k Accord ... AMG baby!

i've sat in a cls500 and although it looks large on the outside it's cramped as hell on the inside, and the visibility sucks.

and i thought the wood looked fake too.

My aunt just got a CLS55. It is absolutley the most unbelievable car ever built. If your parents have the cash for that car, GO FOR IT!!!!!

btw.. I'm not feeling the rims. It takes away from the natural beauty of the car.
