Clones G35, Maxima, Altima, Passat?

Don't get me wrong (because I am, OK?), but has anyone noticed the similarities of the mid-body section (especially window & roofline) of the G35, new Maxima, Altima and the originator of this look...the Passat? Except for different front-end and rear-ends, they look like clones of each other. Which, to the defense of our poor discontinued CL's, is why I love the CL style. I know, it's only a 2-dr car and is way behind the G35 coupe in design, but I hope Acura goes in a different direction when they introduce new body styles. Speaking of which, Acura has some pretty big gaps now to fill to compete with all of the off-the-showroom floor hot rods. Hopefully, the image I attached shows up to see what I'm talking about. If it doesn't show up, go to http:f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/dwfilice@sbcglobal.net and click on the album called dwfilice.

Well the GS 400 and Passat came out in fall of 97 as 98 models so we are well aware Nissan knocked off the GS design with the new G35, Altima and Maxima. I thought the Altima resembled my car until I was at the store and a white Maxima parked right next to me. It is BIGGER than my car.

Knockoff Nissans=:ghey: :swear2:
