Classic Honda The 97 TL Long term test drive

I haven't driven my mom's 97 2.5 TL in probably 4 years so today I took it out for a spin. Let me tell you that even with 95,000 miles the car is an absoulte gem! The car shifts so much smoother than my CL that its not even funny. The ride quality was luxury soft. The paint quality is far superior to the paint Honda uses on our cars. The A/C was alot colder than my CL and even with 95,000 miles to my surprise... no rattles. I was amazed with the build quality of this car. The car has an overall solid feel to it. I don't know if its because the car was made in Japan, but I think that might have something to do with it. I promised myself today that I will never buy another Honda unless its made in Japan. My mother has never had any problems with the car and has no plans of getting rid of it. I just thought I would share this story with you all.

My '98 3.2 TL-P was flawless. That thing was immaculate after 60k, when I returned it for my CL-S. Solid, and reliable as a motherf*cker!! I see 1st Gen 3.2 TLs around once in a while, and I begin to miss mine.

i used to drive a Vigor, the predecessor to this car. the 2.5L was really a very nice engine, and had this great color that was dark green in the sun and almost black in the dark. i always get a little nostalgic whenever i see a Vigor or a 2.5TL drive by... my vigor got totalled by some ass who couldnt drive
