CL = Gone
Well, me and the CL parted ways and it was kinda sad. Getting rid of the warped brakes, old cracking leather and rough tranny wasn't though.
I picked up an '08 Marble White/Cinnamon MX5 GT.
Its a 6spd with all the options. So far its incredible, ill post some pics this weekend!
Already got springs and sways ordered along with tint and some audio toys.

Nice choice. The Miata is always classic.
Now all you have to do is swap an LS1 engine in it. Sorry, someone had to say it.

Congrats on the MX-5. Nice choice! So I'm assuming it has the retractable hardtop, correct?

My mom purchased an MX5-GT PRHT last week. They are fantastic cars. My wife and I have talked about getting one as a third car. Here are a couple of pictures that I took of hers after I put a coat of Zaino on it for her. Copper Mica Red with a Tan interior.

My insurance qoute played a major role in the equation.
2001 CL - 240/month
2004-2005 S2K 325-350ish a month
BRAND NEW, DRIVEN OFF THE LOT, JUST THE WAY I WANT...and 8 miles on the clock..
2008 MX5 - 130/month
For comparible performance, a ton more options (heated seats, 100x better stereo,etc) at least 10mpg better on the freeway, and the fact that I dont see one at every light....hands down MX5 over S2K for me. I dont really need the power. The MX is every bit as quick as the CL-S (check the stats...its close!)
but......I still like the S, but I am proud to have purchase my own 1st car. My name is on the temp plate, and it feels soooooooo good!

Congratulations for your new car. Funny thing a little adventure happened to me today with an MX5. As I was walking back to my car at the end of the day, I'm crossing the street and an older gentleman was sitting in a black MX5 with a plate that said: GR8FUN42 and I couldn't help but smile and give him a thumbs up. He had a big smile on his face and waved at me before he took off. It made my dull day better. Just thought I'd share.You should have great fun ahead of you, but be careful!
