civicdrivr's Z3 thread
(Side note: I was completely blown away when I found out that rwd cars naturally countersteer for you ... if you don't keep a death grip on the wheel and you're looking for it. Again, you'll learn to like it.
I think. Post vids. Either you'll look like a hero or a tool, but you'll get plenty of hits.

Vivid is on FT86Club too. Im curious to see what they did with the clutch. I hate the lack of feedback from it. Its my only complaint about the car.

Yesterday I got most of the clear bra redone, and then some. The guy didn't do the front bumper yet because of the rock chip, and the dealer didn't have touch up paint. I tracked down a Subaru dealer 40 minutes away that does though, so Ill get it there and have the bumper done and the hood stripe redone Thursday.
The reason the hood needs to be redone is because the installed noticed some weird marks at one edge of the strip, so he has to send that entire roll back and have his distributor overnight a new one. He left the strip on the hood just for protection until Thursday though.
He used 24" film too, it covers just about half the hood. I had him do the fenders, A-pillars, trunk opening, behind each wheel, and mirrors. Nothing was precut, he did it all by hand. I was amazed how perfect the cuts came out, and the film he uses has less orange peel then the Scion stuff that was on the car, so its less noticeable. Thursday hes also going to do behind each door handle and the gas cap area. The guy was really cool and let me watch him as he worked. I asked how much a job like this would have cost, and he said the typical bumper/hood/fenders/mirror covering is $595 and the rest of the accessories is about $100, which is a great price, but Im happy he's invoicing the dealer

I need to take some interior pics, even though theres not much that has changed (just shift knob). I took pics yesterday but Lightroom is telling me the file format isn't supported. Its a new camera, but its the same fucking format its always been (.ARW).
Errrr, nope....

The A57 is 1000000x better.I wanted to be able to keep all my lenses, so it was the A57 or the A77. The 57 has better ISO performance.
Its softer then John Bobbitts penis in a strip joint. It has less feedback then a deaf/mute in a Q/A session.
I hate it and absolutely cannot wait to swap it out for a stiffer clutch and a lighter flywheel. That will also make rev matching my downshifts a bit easier.
Wow, I didn't realize you had picked this up almost 3 weeks ago. I knew you were going to get a new car, but not this one! That'sa nice! I'd love to get my hands on this car, but I'm going to wait until I can get it in cash or when the 2G comes out.
ugh you dick....I had no information in that photo to pull anything worthwhile out. You either blacked out the center of the wheel in post...or just had no light.
As of now it appears to be some black wheel with a chrome lip.

I knew one of you would try to brighten up the pic, so I blacked out the center

They do have a polished lip, but not a black center....
Ill say this much, they are 18x8.5. The front is flush, the rear could use a 5mm spacer. They have 225/40 Star Specs on them and they GRIP like no tomorrow. Theres no fuss taking 35mph onramps at 65. Its way too much fun.
